Advantages: Gave me soft, gorgeous smelling skin!

Disadvantages: Didn't help my dry skin

I received The body shops 'Coconut Body Butter' as part as a gift off a close friend, and I have reviewed nearly all the products in that gift I received, so I though id review this product!

In my gift set I received a small 50g tube of the body butter, which isn't huge but it isn't tiny either. I also received other products in my gift set and the price of it was around £12 which was a bargain for everything in there! But you can buy a tube of the coconut body butter 200ml for around £12, it can seem a bit pricey but the butter lasts ages so to me it's well worth the money!

It body butter has a gorgeous coconut smell to it, and the smell doesn't wear off good couple of hours, but even when the smell wears off the body butter still keeps my skin moist and soft! I had used the butter to help my dry skin but I found it didn't really help my dry skin but it just made my skin greasy and it irritated me, but I found if I use the butter on my skin when it wasn't dry it didn't irritate me at all! I don't know why this is or if it's just me but I don't normally get irritated by any body butters. I now use the body butter about 3 times week mainly when I get out of the bath after using my other body shop coconut products. I rub it into most of my body. However I wouldn't recommend applying loads of the body butter as I found it can make my skin very greasy and it takes a long time to dry it and most of it doesn't dry in at all! So only a small amount is needed as it spreads quite far, which is good because it makes the tub last longer!

Overall I do love this product but not when I use it for my dry skin! I would recommend it to anybody who loves getting out of the bath and applying some moisture to their skin, who people who love having a gorgeous smell on them for hours! Don't be put off by the price as it is well worth it, and the product lasts ages!

Summary: Well worth the price, so dont be put off!
