I never thought I'd get quite as excited over a tube of toothpaste but after discovering this Colgate Herbal White I have been telling everyone about how great it is! I had seen this on supermarket shelves many times and had avoided buying it as I was put off a little by the 'herbal' in the product name. It made me think of herbal remedies, old-fashioned concoctions that are never as powerful or as effective as modern tonics. However, I was finally tempted to try the toothpaste after seeing it on offer - 2 50ml tubes for £1. The product comes in a malleable tube which is also boxed and it is available in large and small tubes - I have the 50ml sized one which ... Read the complete review

You go up to your boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/husband one day and give him/her a kiss and instead of them saying, 'Hey gorgeous, your minty breath is nice and fresh today' They say, 'Hey gorgeous, your herbal breath is nice and fresh today'!!!!!! What do you think, sad I know but HERBAL'S the new thing isn't it! The toothpaste is now out, what do you reckon will be next, my guess is Herbal gum!! What do you think of that!? It's the newest toothpaste on the block and it's either a love it or hate it product from Colgate. The toothpaste originated from the famous 'Beaver' advert! Remember it!? The male model fishing ... Fancy a change from your regular toothpaste? Something a little bit different? Yet something that you can still be assured will look after your teeth to the highest possible standard? Well look no further than Colgate's new Herbal toothpaste. I saw an advert for this last weekend and already being a big Colgate fan, (in my opinion they are THE best tooth care product manufacturer around) I decided to give it a try seeing as I had squeezed the last blob out of my Colgate Total. Colgate Herbal comes in the normal 100ml Colgate tube, it usually retails at just over £2, however at the minute it is on promotion, in Tesco anyway, for £1.19. The aim of ... Well after reading the ops on this toothpaste I just had to write this as most of the people hated the taste of this toothpaste. You see I disagree with this after all it is only toothpaste and it may have a different taste to the normal minty ones but I actually prefer the Herbal one now. It took me a couple of days to get used to the taste but of course once you buy something you have to finish it, especially when its my house and toothpaste isn't really that cheap. I think the taste of this toothpaste is similar to aniseed, which I like. I thought my husband liked it too as he wasn't complaining about it so when it was close to ... Read the complete review

Did you see the adverts on TV during the promotional campaign for this new flavour of toothpaste? Colgate herbal toothpaste sank to new depths of cheesiness in the advert, using a male model (with immaculate white teeth of course), in a sailing boot, to ask a cartoon beaver how he keeps his teeth strong, white and healthy! The idea behind it being that this new brand from Colgate uses natural ingredients – hence the herbal! Well anyway, this concept must have got logged in my little brain as a few days after I saw the adverts I was in the local supermarket and there it was on offer an introductory price of 40p less. Being a sucker for a bargain – I ... Read the complete review
