Colgate Max Fresh with Cooling Crystals is the latest 'innovation' in dental care from Colgate. It's actually available in 6 different flavours, but I've only ever seen the 'cool mint' and 'clean mint' versions in shops. The other flavours are 'peppermint', 'spearmint', 'cinnamint', and 'kiss me mint'. It's generally easy to find in most supermarkets, but it's likely there will only be a choice of 1 or 2 flavours. My 100ml tube cost me £2.29 in Boots, and I chose the 'cool mint' flavour, so this is the one I'll be reviewing. The basic idea behind the Max Fresh toothpaste is that it contains lots of little 'cooling crystals' which dissolve whilst you brush your ... Read the complete review

Along with my brand new toothbrush, the Braun Oral-B Professional Care 5000 Rechargeable, which I reviewed and earned myself a crown, I decided my teeth were in need of new toothpaste that was effective. After browsing Tesco, I found one that spotted my eye. It comes in a blue shiny box, and is very attractive. Made by Colgate, it is the Max Fresh with Cooling Crystals toothpaste that I have found to be very effective! As I say, it comes in a shiny blue box with the Colgate logo printed in large white letters on the eye-catching background, which you cannot miss amongst the other toothpastes. It is pointed out on the front that it is the Max Fresh version ... Read the complete review

I picked this stuff up on a whim out shopping as I was having problems with the supermarket's own brand I was using. I'm not usually bothered about brands and happy to grab whatever's cheapest and/or most convenient, but recently my teeth have permanently felt as though they needed brushing. I wondered whether it was because I live in a really hard water area, but my dentist suggested switching toothpaste. Colgate Max Fresh Col Mint is easy to identify on the shop shelf as it comes in a shiny, bright blue box with the usual red and white Colgate logo. Faced with a huge array of all-singing, all-dancing products I just picked this because the colour stood out. ... Read the complete review

I have recently purchased this toothpaste but in a different wrapping style. Pictured above is the original packing where as mine actually came in a short blue plastic bottle (sort of) and looked a lot more modern. It contains 100ml of toothpaste, so the same as the standard tubes (which you can still buy by the way- I just choose this because of its smart and nice appearance). The thing that drew me in to this product, as well as its great packaging, was that it contained 'cooling crystals'. I had not heard of these before and I could see them through the pack looking all pretty so thought I would give it a go. This cost me £1.89 from Asda which is ... Read the complete review

I don't change brands for my teeth but of- course don't mind changing to an upgraded version of my regular product. Colgate MaxFresh with cooling crystal is what I recently changed from my regular colgate gel. For the first few days I could not feel any change except little freshness. But as a week has crossed, I could distictly feel the change, it is much better than that of regular gel I used previously. This new product of colgate comes in a transperant plastic tube with some visible silvery crystals ornamenting the gel. The toothpaste comes with a tag of spicy freshness, and yes, you can call it spicy if you like to. The freshness lasts longer enough to ... Read the complete review
