Also my teeth have absolutely no yellowish tinge to them, which I admit they used to have a bit before I started using this toothpaste. However I don't think this works immediately and you have to use it regularly for it to have an effect. Colgate Max White costs around £2.39 for 100ml which is a lot more than regular Colgate wh...more

Premium Review Colgate MaxWhite with White Micro Crystals: Really does whiten your teeth (387 words)

I have used Colgate whitening toothpastes for a few years now. I am currently using the MaxWhite with Micro Crystals and feel it is a very effective toothpaste. Even though it isn't cheap, I don't mind springing for this toothpaste as I find it works very well and does what it says it will do. Colgate Max White comes in a red, white and blue box that contains a plasticised metal tube of toothpaste inside in the same colours. On the tube it says Colgate in huge letters, and MaxWhite with white micro-crystals. You use this by popping open the top of the tube (no need to unscrew the cap) and putting a pea size amount on your toothbrush. Then you brush your ...  Read the complete review

We recently purchased a tube of this toothpaste to, well, clean our teeth with. You can currently purchase it in Asda for £1.80 for a 100ml tube, or 2 for £3. I don't know how long that offer will last, but that is how we purchased it a couple of months back now. The tube is a standard toothpaste tube and comes in a standard toothpaste box. It's all red and white with the name Colgate Max White written on it. The first time I used this, I was not sure what to expect. I was especially unsure when I put 'squirted' some paste onto my toothbrush and it came out almost clear, with little white bits in it. This was a shock on 2 levels. Firstly, I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Colgate MaxWhite with White Micro Crystals: Whiter than white? (544 words)

I drink far too much tea. Especially now that I am at home all day looking after my baby son. I always seem to have a cup of tea on the go. Unfortunately, though I hate to admit it, my teeth are starting to suffer from this excess consumption of tea and are beginning to take on a slight yellow-ish tinge. In an effort to combat this I tend to buy whitening toothpaste in order to stop it becoming too much of a problem. My brand of choice is Colgate and always has been. I think that's probably because it's what we had at home when I was growing up. I have had brief flirtations with other brands of toothpaste but have always returned to Colgate. Usually I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Does it work? (326 words)

I am reviewing 'Colgate max White with White Micro Crystal' but mine is in a container not in a tube like Dooyoo show on the picture at the top of the page. My toothpaste is Crystal Mint and weighs 100ml and it was bought from Poundland ages ago now but it lasts that long if you don't use it every time you brush your teeth like me. I use normal toothpaste in the day and then use a whitening product at night time before I go to bed as I am trying to get my teeth brighter... This paste is a gel really, it's a light blue and has got little white square pieces on that must be the really strong minty flavour I can taste when I use this ...  Read the complete review

I have always been and thought I would always be the type of person who would buy, then use whichever of the popular brands of toothpaste was on offer during my visit to the supermarket that week. It has been that way for years. It is not that way any more! During my last visit to the supermarket Colgate Maxwhite with micro crystals was that toothpaste, so i purchased it. When I used the toothpaste a few days later I found it to have a very pleasant taste that doesn't leave you rushing to rinse your mouth out without finishing your teeth but, the main plus for me is that it gave me a really fresh feel in my mouth that lasted longer than other toothpastes I ...  Read the complete review
