Advantages: Does what it says on the tin, well bottle in this case.

Disadvantages: Taste was not pleasant.

Having recently suffered from pain in the mouth area, specifically around my wisdom teeth, I decided I should make an attempt at caring for my mouth and teeth slightly better than I have up to now. A trip to Asda soon saw me with 2 bottles of mouthwash. At the time, Asda had a deal on the Colgate Plax mouthwashes, being 2 for £3. We purchased one bottle of the Sensitive variety and a second bottle of different flavour, which if is on here, I shall also review. The reason for buying 2 different flavours was in case we didn't like one, we would have a second to use instead. I don't know if the deal is still on, as I have no need to buy more mouthwash at the minute, but it is a good deal. The Sensitive variety alone costs £3.49!!!

Anywho, the mouthwash is a light pink colour in a clear bottle. I shall not describe the bottle or instructions as well, it's a bottle with liquid in it and if your reading this, I'm going to make the assumption you can read instructions on said bottle. It's mouthwash as well. I mean, how hard is it to put some in mouth, wash around, rinse out. If that is beyond your comprehension, this please do not buy any mouthwash.

So I take a swig of this mouthwash and the first thing I notice is the distintive flavour. Everytime I use it, all I can think of is cheap chewing gum you could buy back in the last century. It is not a pleasant taste and it does make me rinse it around rather quickly, getting into the nooks and crannies, in an attempt to get it out of my mouth quickly. So, quick rinse, gargle and out she goes. I find a quick rinse around with water after use gets rid of the aftertaste, which is as pleasant as the taste when it's in your mouth.

After use, my teeth feel nice and clean, smooth and my breath is good enough that the wife allows me to kiss her!! I find it does last a long time as well. When used at night, I wake up and my teeth still feel pretty clean and smooth. If used in the morning, I can eat some food and they still feel pretty good. Obviously, the more food you eat, the quicker the feeling goes.

I would recommend this brand of mouthwash, but not this flavour, even for sensitive teeth, try a different flavour and see how that goes first.

Having just looked at the other reviews and stated earlier I was going to review the different flavour I used, well I'm not. There is no point as it will be the same as this review, other than the taste was brilliant and much better than this one. So get the Colgate Plax classic version and your onto a winner.

Summary: Use, but different flavour is a must.
