Advantages: ease of use, cheap, it gives you the confidence of breath you may need

Disadvantages: It tastes a bit horrible

You know the scenario, you are out on the town, you are the life and soul of the party and whatever you say results in reams of laughter, and then you catch the whiff of bad breath. Cigarettes, alcohol all at least ten days old and it suddenly dawns on you. God was it my jokes or my personal hygiene they were all laughing at? You will never know, you go all quiet and it is as if you have a split personality, the others think that you have come over all-unnecessary and leave you alone. Great what was so promising turns out to be a disaster. You could never be sure that it was not your breath you caught a whiff of.

Well insurance is always wise and in the meat market this is never truer. I would like to introduce you to the insurance that you may need ~ Colgate total Plax mouthwash.

This little beauty is easy to use, simply rinse and gargle for 1 minute after flossing and before brushing your teeth. Twice a day is best but once will do. It fights plaque for 12 hours and plaque is what traps those nasty niffs in your mouth all around your teeth. This will result in long-lasting fresh breath and fight gum disease and cavities. Colgate claim that they have the results of unequivocal clinical tests that prove their claims.

I cannot vouch for their tests I can, however, recommend Plax on the basis of ten years experience on myself. I have religiously used this product and have never had a problem since. I have not had a filling in the last ten years and my dentist says that he is impressed. He also says that since the onset of Plax the number of cavities in the teeth of adults has dropped dramatically.

How does Plax work? It contains co polymers, which are gentle round abrasives, and triclosan which is an antiseptic, designed to dislodge plaque and kill anaerobic bacteria that live between your teeth and turn sugars into foul smelling waste products. It also contains glycerine and menthol to give it that medicine taste and feel but add n
othing to its efficacy. It also contains alcohol so it is not recommended for children. This is wise as the abrasives could result in immature tooth enamel being thinned. Healthy teeth and gums is the result.

Is a minute a day worth it? Well yes it is the cheapest insurance policy in terms of time and money that I have and it is worth it. Plax costs around two pounds a bottle and this 500 ml bottle lasts my wife and I about two months. Not bad for bathroom products generally and it is more effective than mouth sprays and the like.

Socialise with confidence, take out the Plax insurance policy, then you may discover that it was indeed not your breath that drove your friends away, they just got bored LOL.

Very entertaining! Haven't had any teeth problems for ages, but I suppose if it only takes a few seconds to use everyday, it's worth trying for peace of mind :) Chinny
