I have used it myself, just to see what the main difference is, and it is like having a really mild minty toothpaste, much less powerful than a toothpaste that you or I are likely to use. Your teeth I am sure you will agree need a lot of looking after, especially those of you who have a sweet tooth. Colgate has been helping us look after our teeth since 1837 although the company has been around for much longer mainly producing soaps. Their first toothpaste was sold in jars and was emulated by many other company’s, Colgate introduced the first tube toothpaste in 1908 and have worked hard ever since to keep improving their products. The company which is now known as Colgate-Palmolive due to its merger with Palmolive-Peet in 1928 is one of the few around who can continually claim their product is an improvement on the last and be correct. As well ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Keep those milk teeth bright and clean! (318 words)

Our son is just experiencing his first loose milk tooth. It's only a matter of a few weeks now until it comes out. Each and every day, he brushes his teeth twice, carefully, with Colgate Smiles toothpaste. Formulated especially for kids, it comes with different target groups, with one type being for age 6 and over, and one being for up to 6 years old. The latter is the one we use, as our son is 5. It is a well presented tube, with the lid being a stand, whereby the whole thing can stand up as opposed to havign to find somewhere to lie it down. I much prefer this. We bought the 50ml tube of it. I am unsure if there are any different sized tubes, but ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Colgate Smiles Children's Toothpaste: Colgate in spanish = "hang yourself!" (1304 words)

This review can be found on my ciao.co.uk account. :) Colgate smiles :) We probably all know and recognise Colgate as a toothpaste brand, ranging from Colgate Oxygen to Colgate sensitive. Colgate smiles is a product specifically designed to attract the children audience, with some suited to 0-2 year olds, some to 2-6, and then 6+. This product can be located in virtually any decent shop/supermarket you may not even have to ask for toothpaste, just by saying ''could I have some Colgate" should be a satisfactory request. That is unless you are living in Spain.. in that case I would just translate toothpaste into Spanish. ...  Read the complete review

Well after having kids, both age 5, and both having sweet tooths. I decided I needed to buy a toothpaste that would make them want to brush their teeth, without been too strong for them, and being more better for their teeth. So off i went to Morrisons in search of the toothpaste, that i thought could do this. I cam across Colgate smiles, and after discovering, some brands are more fruity than minty, and not as good for their teeth. I thought i would give this a shot. Abit about Colgate -------------------------- Colgate first started in 1806, and was owned by William Colgate. In 1911 Colgate started a campaign on Oral Health Education. BACKGROUND *************************** I wrote this review for the product of the week review on Ciao . When I went to buy the product you will see it was not really designed with me or my age group in mind but ever the daredevil :) I jumped right in . I found there was a slight problem however . Browsing Asda's shelves this week looking for this item I eventually found it on the bottom shelf right near the floor . Getting my poor old body down to have a closer look I realised it's part of Colgate's childrens range . Oh well Hubby's always saying I'm 55 going on 6 so in for a penny , in for pound . This childrens range had various ...  Read the complete review

Mouth feels fresh, limits trips to the dentist. Quite a stong and distinctive taste, not that minty really.
