... It's a pretty standard toothpaste all around and there is nothing particularly special about it, not from the packaging anyway. The toothpaste is pretty standard and comes out of the tube a little fast so be wary of this when squeezing the tube! It is a clean colour and you can see the fresh stripe running through the middle. It is a minty toothpaste taste that is not too strong and as I often feel ill in the mornings I think this is quite good for helping me not gag when brushing my teeth/tongue. It works very w...more

Premium Review Colgate Total Fresh Stripe: A colgate toothpaste that I probably will not use (477 words)
by - written on 09/03/08 (Very useful, 167 readings)
Rating:

I use Colgate toothpaste on my pearly whites; have done since I was a teenager, when I changed from the toothpaste brand my parents used to the one my boyfriend used. During the past 35 years we have occasionally used other brands but come back to Colgate Colgate makes a few varieties of toothpaste the one I am using at the moment is the total mint stripe one. This toothpaste comes in a 50g or a100g tube. A price 93p from Tesco and Sainsbury's for 500g. 100g cost £1.54 at Asda, £1.58 at Tesco on offer at Sainsbury's and Ocado 2 for £2.50 till 10/3/08 This tooth paste comes in a tube in a card box. This has a fresh blue green stripe colouring ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I've Done It !! (885 words)

I've done it !!! I've found one so close it scares me lol - read my 'Do You Want Dazzling Knashers?!?!' review to see exactly what I'm talking about! After going through the strife of looking for my ever faithful toothpaste I was gutted when I bought another colgate toothpaste and found it absolutely rank so I continued my search. I came across Colgate Fresh stripe and it was the only box which sort of resembled the advanced gel box that I had become so fond off - I never usually like green but this was an attractive mint green - very close to that turquoise that I'd grown to love just not as shiny so I had to give it a try. Just by ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Colgate Total Fresh Stripe - Refresh Your Mouth! (606 words)
by - written on 30/01/09 (Very useful, 29 readings)
Rating:

I use Colgate Total Fresh Stripe in the pump action dispenser twice a day and I rate it very highly. It costs £1.95 for a 100ml pump tube from Boots, although I am guessing it may well be cheaper elsewhere as Boots can normally be price-beaten on everyday toiletries by most places. At less than £2 for a tube which lasts ages though, I don't feel the need to shop around for it. It comes in a rounded tall plastic tube with a flat bottom so that it stands up in your bathroom cabinet - ideal! The main colour on the label is minty green which immediately makes you think of freshness. It has the red Colgate logo diagonally down the middle. It has a plastic cap on ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clean and fresh (275 words)
by - written on 09/02/09 (Very useful, 69 readings)
Rating:

Colgate is always a brand of toothpaste that I rate very highly, there are many other brands of tootpaste out there that I have tryed but I always come back Colgate because of the high quality tootpaste that it produces. The Colgate toothpaste total fresh stripe is probably the best of all tha colgate products that are out there, it leaves your teeth feeling cleaner and also your breath much fresher as well. On the toothpaste tube it always claims to protect against Cavities, Tartar, Bad breath, Plaque and Gum problems and I feel it really does a great job on each of these points. The Colgate Total fresh stripe comes in a plastic tube in a box which ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Colgate Total Fresh Stripe: Mr Colgate Keeps My Teeth Clean! (359 words)
by - written on 23/11/09 (Very useful, 16 readings)
Rating:

I must admit that I love a good bargain but toothpaste is generally something that I would never normally scrimp on. My Mum had brought this because it was on special offer with 2 100ml tubes for £3.00 and therefore when I was home recently I thought I'd better give it a little try and see if it is any better than the previous Colgate product she had purchased. It is provided in a standard toothpaste tube with a plastic screw cap at the end and the tube is squeezable. This is provided inside a red & white cardboard box. It's a pretty standard toothpaste all around and there is nothing particularly special about it, not from the packaging ...  Read the complete review
