Colgate Oxygen Toothpaste ... OXYGEN TOOTHPASTE We popped a new toothpaste in our trolley last month, it was Colgate Oxygen toothpaste, and they proudly told me that I would have "a clean, fresh mouth, like a fresh of breath air"!! Did it?? APPEARANCE The 100ml tube came in a cardboard box (why do they do that, it seems a complete waste and it is hardly environmentally friendly); the box is pale blue with a big red Colgate logo and a little pile of bubbles!! The box also tells me that this toothpaste will provide us with Pure Freshness Long lasting fresh breath Care and Protection for our teeth and gums I should hope so, that s why you buy toothpaste isn t it? Colgate Toothpaste ... Tube The tube is a white plastic and consists of a red plastic button on the top which squirts the toothpaste out; it also has a clear plastic lid. The front is in red and blue and includes the brand name also that it has cavity protection, strengthens teeth, freshens breath and it has fluoride in it with calcium. On the back is info about the product, directions for use, ingredients, the address in the UK and Ireland, the recycle symbol and once open it has to be used within 12 months. Colgate Plax Anti-Plaque Rinse Classic ... luminously red mouthwash from colgate, free of gimmicks such as mix yourself . This wash is a perfect accompaniment to colgate toothpaste. It doesn t seem as powerful as Listerine, but does have quite a strong alcohol flavour, which could not be described as pleasant but is relatively invigorating and quite refreshing. After using it, you ll find your teeth feeling very smooth and shiny, and it is good at killing any hints of bad breath. It;s anti-bacterial because of the high alcohol content, and as such it has an after taste. Its relatively mild and fades within an hour or two, but you will know you ve used a mouthwash.
