This is a great temporary make-up product to use if you haven't quite got the tan you desired due to the lack of reliable sunshine in this country. Sunshimmer doesn't cost as much as the better known brands of self-tanning products but it is still very effective. The first thing to remember is that if you have very pale skin you should apply just a little, let it develop, and then deepen it gradually. This will avoid ending up with something that is so dark that you can instantly tell it's fake tan. Secondly, it is a good ideal to wear plastic gloves like you get with hair dying kits, or apply this with a small sponge. It will stain your hand badly and its very hard to get off. This is a brilliant product for a golden glow. You never have to have "orange" legs anymore, you can see the colour as you put it on. You don't go to bed wondering "what colour will I be in the morning" and wake up looking streakey and orange. This product is now branded as Rimmel Sunshimmer but is still as good. It is an instant, wash-off self tanner. It comes in two shades; light or medium and in matter or shimmer. The matt gives a tan look whilst the shimmer has added sparkly bits to give a dewy finish. I bought some of this as I am an avid fake-tanner but haven't had the guts to put any on my face since a streaky disaster at Easter!!! My makeup is very important to me in my job. I have to look just right or the whole act doesn't work.
