This is a great temporary make-up product to use if you haven't quite got the tan you desired due to the lack of reliable sunshine in this country. You may be one of those people who can't go out in the sun and yet you still don't want to appear 'pale and interesting', preferring to look lightly bronzed and glowing health instead, or maybe its just the beginning of the summer and you want a nice glow for an evening out. You could use it just to enhance the tan you already have as it has a lovely shimmery effect once its dry. It comes in two shades, Light and Natural or Medium. I use the light and natural myself though I have used the medium and I don't think there is much difference between them to be honest.

Whatever the reason you should certainly give this a try at least, but before I go any further let me warn you now that it does wash off, so if you get caught in a shower, you will definitely have streaks in your tan so don't forget I told you so! It is a make-up product not a self tanning agent and it does say that quite clearly on the tube front and back. You should also bear this in mind if you're going to a pub or party full of drunken revellers, as no doubt you will have some drink splashed on you at some point.

Application.

Right on the back of the tube it says that you should first cleanse and exfoliate your skin, then apply lightly and evenly building up the layers slowly until you get the effect you want, i.e. the more layers, the deeper the colour. You can wear gloves for this if you want but I just use my hands as it's easy to smooth on and spread evenly and of course it washes off your hands very quickly with soap and water. Don't forget to wash them or you will have sparkly orange hands and people will think you're an alien!

How does it look?

It looks really good if you have applied it evenly and haven't splashed it with liquid of any kind.Your skin does fe
el lovely and soft and you will look absolutely gorgeous and glowing with health. Don't overdo it though or you'll end up looking like you've been tangoed


Final drawback

There is a warning to avoid contact with pearls or other delicate jewellery and also synthetic fabrics, so take note and choose your accessories and clothing with care.

I would use this purely as an all over make-up due to the fact that it washes off very easily indeed, but at only £3.49 for 100ml/3.4oz, it's pretty reasonable. Not ideal for everyone but it certainly works for me until my tan gets going.
