Gimmicky? Possibly but I still love it

I have used a few products in the Cowshed range, I’ve tried Grumpy Cow and Lazy Cow products. Granted, the name sounds a bit gimmicky but the last product I used in this range is beautiful. I bought a bottle of Lazy Cow Soothing Body Lotion for £10 (usual price is £18) for a 300ml bottle. I love this stuff as it sinks into the skin rapidly and the smell is to die for.

It contains a few different ingredients, including jasmine, chamomile and sandalwood and the smell lingers on the skin for ages after it has been applied. As it is such a strong fragrance however, you have to be careful about which perfume you use alongside this as it can clash if you are not careful.

I like to apply this lotion after a bath or shower and it feels really luxurious and like I am pampering myself whenever I use it. I first used this when I was given a small bottle as part of a gift pack about two years ago and since then I have used it regularly. The best place (and cheapest) to buy it is either Amazon or Ebay. If you buy this in a department store expect to pay at LEAST another £7 or £8.

The lotion was runnier than I was expecting but not so much that it dribbles down your lags. It feels quite oily but actually it isn’t at all and as it is so quickly absorbed it doesn’t leave the skin feeling all tacky and I am always able to dress pretty much immediately after using it.

I have recommended this to loads of my fiends and I have also since gone out to buy lots of other products in the range. I love the packaging and it looks good sitting on my bathroom shelf. Great for a present / gift and with Christmas (sorry) coming up soon I hope to receive more of this please Santa!

Don't be offended if someone gives you a lazy cow gift!

I was bought this as a gift and had never before heard of the brand, I thought to myself "Should I be offended that someones calling me a lazy cow?" I didn't know whether it was a gimmicky item but when you investigate the product further and smell it you see it's a luxurious brand! They have other names in the range like "tired cow" and grumpy cow".

PRICE - It's definitely not cheap! I saw this at the weekend in John Lewis for £18. If you feel like treating yourself though it's worth it... or maybe you could treat someone else (maybe me?)

SMELL - Oh it's heavenly and it gently lingers on your skin all day long. You know how sometimes moisturisers that are scented can be over powering? This one definitely isn't - it has Jasmine, Sandalwood and Chamomile in it.

APPLICATION - Whether you just got out of the bath or you're just sat on the sofa this moisturiser applies very well and soaks in quite quickly leaving your skin feeling supple. It doesn't leave any shiny sheen on your skin either - it just leaves it smelling nice!

ANY ADDED BONUSES? - It's suitable for vegetarians and some of the ingredients (not all) are organic. It'd be nice if it had some SPF in it but alas it doesn't.
