... in reality there is none! However, when it comes to being the "skin conditioner" that Lush had originally marketed this creamed shower soap to be, coconut definitely makes its presence known. Not only is Creamed Almond And Coconut Smoothie's sensually decadent consistency primarily owed to coconut oil, but once you slather this whipped dream onto your body, you're blessed with what is unquestionably the milkiest, silkiest, most addictive lather going. So this shower smoothie isn't all that bad! Apart from t...more

Crowned Review Creamed Almond & Coconut Smoothie: A bit of tropical paradise in the shower (1046 words)

Us women will do anything to achieve great skin won’t we? How many potions, lotions and miracle creams have you tried in your lifetime that all promise the same thing – baby soft and smooth skin? Well I’ve tried a few over the years and have paid over the odds for a lot of jars and bottles that have not even come close to doing what they promise. If I told you to take a pot full of almond and vanilla Angel Delight into the shower with you, then rub it all over your body as you are washing what would you say? The chances are you would probably think I was mad. Don’t leave yet though because my little tub of Angel Delight has made my rough bits smooth and my ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review This is one smooth smoothie! (779 words)

I absolutely adore Lush shower smoothies, they are just a great idea! I really like Lush Lime which now has a permenant place in my bathroom cabinet. For some reason it took me a while to want to buy another one because I don't want to be let down! However, after my usual browse in the Exeter store I just so happened to have a 10% voucher (from a gift set) and decided to take the leap and try another shower smoothie! It was quite an easy decision as at present Lush only make two shower smoothies; Creamed Almond and Coconut and Dreamwash. After much deliberation I opted for Creamed Almond and Coconut. Creamed Almond and Coconut comes in the usual black tub with ...  Read the complete review

I thought there must be a reason that I love the smell of this product, despite the scent being subtle to the point of being almost unnoticable - and on checking the ingredients I find that it contains jasmine. Ahh, yes, my favourite! Actually I bought this pot for my daughter for her birthday, because she is always complaining of dry skin, and then she was silly enough to leave it in the bathroom so I stole some to try - shhhhh, don't tell her, she'll never notice. The container is now one of Lush's usual plain and understated black pots, rather than the one pictured above. This product is designed specifically for dry skin and is one pot solution to getting ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Lush Product With No Wow Factor (504 words)

Me and my sister used to fight like cat and dog when we were little. We have grown closer as the years have gone on and when she produced a big box of assorted Lush goodies for my birthday she was elevated to the position of my favourite person in the world. One of my pressies was the almond and coconut shower smoothie. The packaging is no longer the white pot pictured above but is in one of the black screw top pots. Because Lush like to keep packaging to a minimum you can take back five empty pots and receive a free fresh face mask which just gives us Lush addicts an extra excuse to buy more! I never tried this product for a couple of months ...  Read the complete review
