Advantages: Skin so soft you'll forget to reach for your body lotion!
Disadvantages: Well I can't find any really, maybe it could make some a bit paranoid about a few germs!!
This is an opinion on Carex anti-bacterial body wash. Firstly I have to say I’m not one of these people who are a bit paranoid about a few germs, not that theres anything wrong with that! I just bought this because it was on offer, buy one get one free and I thought it would be nice to try something new! The bottle I picked was blue and the body wash is blue too. It has a lovely smell and not clinical at all which is what I expected from something claiming to be antibacterial! I can’t really liken the fragrance of this to anything other than the hand wash Carex do, so if you have tried that then you will get the general idea of what this is going to smell like. The bottle is nothing startling, sort of oblong and has the Carex logo on it along with the required information. The bottle informs me that this is suitable for everyday use by all the family and even suitable for people with sensitive skin (that me! I suffer for eczema). It’s soap free and ph balanced so it won’t dry your skin out. ~~~~~~~ HOW DID I RATE IT ~~~~~~~ Well I have to say this is a really lovely body wash and it really doesn’t dry your skin out so if your like me and suffer from eczema or any other skin complaints and want a gentle body wash then I highly recommend this stuff. It lathered up really well and rinsed off easily too. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and conditioned and I don’t feel the need to use body lotion afterwards either, which is unusual for me as I tend to reach straight for the lotion after drying off from a shower or bath! So if I had to rate this out of 10 then if gets a 10 from me simply because it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. ~~~~~~~ INGREDIENTS ~~~~~~~ You may want to skip this bit as there are a few ingredients in this stuff, lol. Aqua, sodium laureth sulfate, glycerin, cocamidopropyl betaine, PEG-7, glyceryl cocoat
e, cocamidopropylpg-dimonium chloride phosphate, triclosan, hydroxypropyl guar, hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, parfum, cocamidoproplylamine oxide, disodium edta, methyldibromo, glutaronitrile, phenoxyethonal, disodium phosphate, citric acid, hexylene glycol, sodium laurl sulfate, trideceth-7, potassium sorbate, sodium citrate, and finally C1 42051. So there you have it, all that’s left is to tell you where you can buy this from and how much it costs! I have seen this in Tesco’s and Safeway and also in chemist shops its probably available from Boots and Superdrug too so if you want to try it, I’m sure you’ll be able to find it. The price varies from shop to shop so its worth looking around for a bargain but in general, be prepared to pay around £2.00 for a 250 ml bottle – which is very reasonable I think. I recommend this and I will buy it again, along with everything else that grabs my attention when I’m out shopping, lol. I just can’t resist a bargain. Thanks for reading :0 )
