Advantages: Feels fantastic, worth getting out of bed for!
Disadvantages: It runs out eventually!
OK I admit I've never slept on satin sheets, but I know I'd love them. Satin on skin is one of the wonderful sensations of touch and if you agree thus far, then you really must read on. If you don't like the feel of satin then you have to be thick skinned and you'll probably not be interested in what follows!!
**I Love Satin!**
...so much so that I wear skimpy satin in bed even in winter (which is saying something living in an old (cold) house with high ceilings)! So, I was delighted to discover Foamburst Gel as a little added luxury to help get me out of bed and into the shower in the mornings!
**Discovery**
I have been a regular user of Foamburst for a few years now, after first discovering a Dove shower foam. I wasn't keen on the smell much of Dove but the silky / satiny feel on the skin was good enough to make up for that. Then I discovered it was no longer sold and I was gutted. No satin in the shower, however would I get out of bed now??
Fortunately, I then spotted Foamburst. A gel not a foam so I wasn't sure it'd match up to Dove. But I was keen to find an alternative.
**Gelly Satin Fun***
This is great fun and kids really love it too! It squirts out as a gel in the colour that matches the can and then in an instant it turns to foam. Smooth it over your naked skin and feel the satin. It's fantastic.
**Multi choice**
This product keeps being repackaged and re-flavoured/ re-named. There are currently six different Foambursts to choose from. They have just introduced a new shaped can and these are the fragrances available:
* Moisture Plus (Purple)
* Aquaspa (Duck Egg blue/green)
* Wake Up (light green)
* Ice Cool (blue)
* Mango Madness (light orange)
* Radiance (pink)
Each can is 200ml and costs around £2.29 but is often on offer (eg buy two for £3). It is available in most supermarkets and chemists including Boots and Superdrug.
**Gelly Smelly?**
I have only tried the Aquaspa and Moisture Plus, basically because they match the colours in our bathroom! Both have a mild smell which is pretty unisex. Difficult to describe, not floral but a gentle, pleasant mild soap smell. And smell is very important to me (just such a sensitive thing aren't I?)!
**Longlasting**
A little squirt goes a very long way. Trouble is it feels so good that you have to keep re-applying and you just can't get yourself out of the shower in a hurry. Even so, a can usually lasts me at least 2 weeks with the kids and hubby using it is well.
**Gelly Soft?**
My skin is normal perhaps erring on the side of slightly sensitive. Foamburst does not dry my skin out or upset it in any way.
The ingredients are many so if you suffer from eczema or allegies you may wish to look at the list. For the Moisture Plus they are:
Aqua, sodium laureth sulfate, isopentane, sodium cocoyl isenthionate, cocamidopropyl betaine, glycerl laurate, cocamide DEA, parfum, glycerin, hydroxyprpoyl guar hydroxypropyltrimonium choride, disodium EDTA, tetrasodium EDTA, methyldibromo glutaronitrile, phenoxyethanol, citric acid, butylphenyl methylpropional, hexyl cinnamal, linalool, alpha-isomethyl ionone, citronellol, geraniol, Cl 60730.
Foamburst is also excellent for use when shaving your legs in the shower! Satin legs!
**Satin Value**
If you love satin, you'll love Foamburst. I think it's really good value for money. The only disadvantage is that it runs out in the end but the can is made of aluminium so is fully recyclable. I would rate this product 5 out of 5 for great value and fun in the shower.

**Final Note**
Satin sheets on Christmas list.
Note to the neighbours for Boxing Day. Loud thud likely to be me falling out of bed. Satin + satin = Slippy!
Thanks for reading!
Summary: Fun, frothy, silky, satiny shower gel! It feels fantastic!
