Advantages: Not too expensive, don't need to use a lot, fine for sensitive skin, great fun!

Disadvantages: None

I've never liked using shower gel since everytime I use one I come out in a rash because my skin's sensitive. I assmuned I had an allergic reaction to shower gel since it seemed to be the worst thing I could use on my skin so I avoided using them for a few years, but then I saw this and since it looked easy to use I thought I'd give it a go. I started with just using it on one arm for a few days to test it on my skin, but there was no irritation surprisingly and since then I've been using it everyday in the shower.

This gel comes packaged in 200ml cans that really look and function like air freshner cans, which is what I thougt this was when I first saw it. The can has a sort of wavy shape to it and the lid is plastic. There is a small nozzle on the front of the lid where the gel comes out from and to get it out you push down on a sort of button on top of the lid. This has a seal on top of it at first which comes off easliy, although you can leave it on and just push down to start with. The front has the Imperial Leather logo and the fragrance, with all the ingredients and directions on the back. There are a few different fragrances, and I haven't tried them all yet but Wake Up is my favourite so far. This one comes in a green tin and has a lovely, bright lime fragrance that's very invigorating. I haven't used any that I don't like so I can recommend any of them but the green one is best in my opinion!

It comes out as a gel the same colour as the tin, but as soon as you smooth it onto your skin it becomes a luxourious, thick foam that seems to get bigger and bigger! It's great fun to use so I'd imagine kids would love it too. You don't need a lot to cover your whole body which makes it last - on the can it says it gives you 40+ washes which I'd say is about right. I find that the best way to apply it is to use a shower scrunchie. I used to lather up soap on one of these but with this you just need to squeeze a dollop onto it, lather it a bit and then wash with it. Then it rinses off quickly and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy. And it's fine for sensitive skin too.

It retails at around £2.40 - £2.99 a can but there are usually offers on. There is a shop called Bodycare which sells them for £1.49. It lasts and lasts so is well worth the money.

Summary: Well worth the money for this luxourious shower gel
