If you like to have a shower every morning instead of a bath, you will know how important it is to have a good shower gel. If you are a regular bather but dislike showers, try this shower gel it's so good and could change your mind!

Appearance
The Imperial Leather Foamburst shower gel comes is a rounded metal can (recyclers will be pleased to know that it is made from aluminium so is therefore recyclable). The can I am used to is the "Wake up" variety and it has a light green swirling pattern on it along with the Cussons Imperial Leather logo. On the top of the can there is a white piece of plastic which says lift here, at first I didn't realise this was there and as a result it was slightly difficult to get the gel out! Once you have taken it off you reveal a button which is the same colour as the gel inside, in my case green.

Use
The gel squirts out into your hand as a green colour but as you rub it into your skin it will turn white and lathery (a bit like shaving foam!). One of the amazing things about this gel is a small amount goes a very long way the can is only 200ml claims to last for upto 40 washes (this is about right and maybe a conservative estimate!). You don't need to use much of the gel and a small handful will turn into enough lather to cover your whole body. Once you have covered your body, you can either use your hands to this or if you prefer a sponge, you rinse off with hot water. The experience is really refreshing and leaves your skin feeling really smooth!

Smell
If you are after a perfumed shower gel which smell lingers long after your wash this may not be for you. It claims to smell of cucumber and lime but you can only smell it if you put your nose to the can. I actually prefer something that doesn't smell too much so this is a positive for me.

Price and varieties
A can of Imperial Leather Foamburst costs from £2.49 - 2.99 depending on where you shop. It is also available in different varieties such as Moisture Plus and Ice Cool, I haven't tried these yet as I love the "Wake up" make so much I have no reason to try another!
