Advantages: It can be used as shaving gel

Disadvantages: Theres no real foam.

I have bought this in two different scents, both are limited edition, one is purple, the other is pink.

The purple one is with 'enriching jojoba and passion fruit' and smells identical to a mixture of two products the Body Shop used to do in the 1980s one shampoo called licorice and dewberry shower gel.
The pink one fares better and is with coconut milk and tiare flower and smells to me like comfort baby soft fabric softener. (I like this scent!)

I was able to buy both of these in Boots for £3 together, I think normally they retail at around £2.50 each so this was a good deal.

My first impression was the can was nice to hold: its smooth and is slightly curved making it nice to handle and the metal is a matt metal so its also a nice texture.

Its by imperial leather who are sort of Queens of soap- they made soap we used as a growing family years ago so I trusted this retailer to make me clean.

On squirting out the can onto my hands while I was in the shower, I didn't expect to see a gel, I expected to see a foam. I expected to be surrounded by bubbles of foam like if you take a bubble bath. On my hand it came out as a gel, it turned white and ever so slighly enlarged in size and foamed some more when I rubbed it into my skin so it did foam to some degree, but only slightly. It really remained as a gel. A bit like shaving gel really- in fact you could use it as shaving gel if you wanted I am sure.

It does blend nicely onto skin, it washes off well and it smells OK. The scent doesn't really stay long, it washes off down the plug which is a mixed blessing depending on what you use and if you like it.
My skin felt almost squeaky clean when I washed this off- this is great for me after a hot and sweaty gym session, its just what I need, although I wouldn't have minded some exfoliation, this is foam and gel so you get the feeling it only touches the surface.

Its quite a bulky product for me- I generally take my showers in the gym which I visit 6 days a week, so I need my items not to take up all my bag space- trainers are big enough! And this to me was too large, it would be good if they did mini sizes of these.

I would also like there to be more scents, they are all very 'pretty' scents, I really would love something more aromatic. Not this.

Summary: needs more work.
