Imperial Leather is a brand of soaps, toiletries and healthcare products manufactured by PZ Cussons. It originates in Britain and dates back to 1768. I have been using quite a lot of Imperial Leather products of late, firstly because they are good quality, secondly because they have some lovely smells and thirdly, they always seem to be on offer in Sainsburys!

The Foamburst gels come in a spray can type packaging with a nozzle at the top which you press to get the gel out. When it comes out it's rather a strange phenoenum to me. I pressed a little bit of the gel out and lo and behold it was a gel rather than a foam. It's only when you then rub your hands together with the gel that it then turns into a foam, very interesting. You really only need a bit of gel in order to work up quite a bit of foam. Imperial Leather say you will be "amazed as the foam instantly transforms from a transparent gel into mounds of rich and creamy lather."

I definitely find this foam burst gel very creamy and I have to say it leaves my skin very soft. It's also quite fun to use and make the gel turn into foam and I have to admit it's the main reason why I like to use this!

What's great is that it comes in a number of different flavours, all exotic and lovely sounding. The Japanese Spa range which I love has a foam burst gel which smells of green tea rice milk and jasmine. Another nice one is Hawaiian Spa which smells of exotic Tiare flower and coconut milk. They also have an Ocean Spa, Sunrise and wake up, all guaranteed to give you a boost in the morning.

On the can it actually says that each FoamBurst Gel will give you enough product for over 40 washes. I would say this is about right or if like me you love to play with the gel/foam action then it may disappear a bit quicker than that! Each can has 200ml and costs £2.54.
