Huggable, snuggable skin!!

After using the Japanese Spa hand lotion I decided to give the shower creme a try as I love the smell of the hand lotion so much.
What first attracted me to this hand lotion/shower creme over other products in not only the Imperial Leather range but in the rest of the shower cremes available in Sainsburys was the beautiful design on the front of the bottle. I must admit sometimes I am a bit of a sucker for pretty looking bottles and packaging and sometimes I buy beauty products on this fact alone. Obviously their marketing ploy has worked on this consumer.

The bottle itself is plastic and on the front is a beautiful Japanese flower design with Japanese writing to accompany it. I think this makes it look very authentic and pretty. The bottle is a creme colour. My only criticism with this bottle is that you have to open the top of the bottle and squeeze the creme out yourself. Generally I like my shower creme bottles to have a hook so you can hang them up in the shower and then do not always have to bend over and reach for the bottle before you can get the creme out but it's just a small criticism and one I can live with.
Imperial Leather is a brand of soaps, toiletries and healthcare products manufactured by PZ Cussons. It originates in Britain and dates back to 1768.

The ingredients they have in this shower creme are lovely and luxurious in my opinion. I love the smell of green tea and they say it also works as a powerful anti-oxident. The rice milk is caring and gentle as you would imagine it would be and the jasmine is there to relax and sooth you. The shower creme itself is almost a white cremey milk colour. It really has quite a thick lotion consistency to it and lathers up well in the shower I find. You can definitely smell it on your skin afterwards, the effect lasts for a while, as much as any other shower creme would last.

On the back of the bottle it says it's skin friendly pH, mild enough for the whole family, dermatologically tested and 100% soap free so go ahead, lather up.

A 250ml bottle of the shower creme costs £1.46 from Sainsburys.
