Cussons Imperial Leather, such a classic soap that has been on the shop and chemists shelves for as long as I can remember. The Imperial Leather fragrance was the creation of PZ Cussons and its origins lay in the United Kingdom. I was interested when I read how Cussons Imperial Leather soap gathered popularity, it was all due to the rationing that was implemented at the onset of World War Two in 1942. The soap bar was described as being hard and long lasting and therefore the soap was considered a safe bet to spend your coupons on. I was just discussing with family how the Imperial Leather soap used to come in an elegant scarlet red cardboard box ... Read the complete review

The Imperial Leather shower range is definitely my favourite and has been used in my house for quite a while now. The Imperial Leather shower range comes in quite distinct bottle shapes. These range from the slightly wavy to near-enough oval, but all show the Imperial Leather logo prominently on the front making them easy to spot in the shops. The bottle contents vary in colour depending on the product itself. Noticeable however is the fact that the Shower Gel range is much more vibrant in colour than the Shower Cream range, which like the name suggests in generally 'creamy' in colour. The bottle I usually purchase contains 500ml and ... Read the complete review

Morning Horror in the shower! My favourite satiny Foamburst gel is empty and I'm already soaking wet. Choices are difficult first thing in the morning so rather than get out of the shower and drip my way to the cupboard for a new can of froth, I pick up my daughter's Imperial Leather Refreshing Shower Gel which she won somewhere. **It's Green!** The lid is green and so is the liquid gel in the clear plastic bottle. Bright green is OK but not a colour I'd ever choose for a shower gel. It just doesn's seem right somehow and besides, clashes with our bathroom decor. I already know I'm not going to like it. **The Smell** This gel is ... Read the complete review

I don't seem to be able to walk past a Beauty Shop anymore without the bottles of Bubble Bath enticing me in. Yesterday was just that day, when I was happily walking past my local Bargain Beauty shop, when the bottle of Imperial Leather, Double Bubble Bath Foam called out my name. Not sure how it knew what I was called, but could be that I'm always in the shop. Now I didn't really need anymore Bubble Bath as I'm still ploughing through the millions of bottles from my Dec Birthday and Xmas, are people trying to say something???. But because I do like a nice bottle to sit posing on the edge of my bath, I just had to recude it from the dusty old ... Read the complete review

Having previously written about the sorry excuse for a skin-scourer that is Imperial Leather Foamburst Handwash, I couldn't resist the temptation to purchase their brand new bathing product - Bathtime Double Bubble. I couldn't wait to see if they could prove my theory wrong that all their recently released products are just a 'sloppy copy' of the delightful Foamburst Shower Gel. So, will Foamburst Gel be left crying in the playground as Double Bubble steals the Head Prefect badge from its blazer? Let's see shall we. SO, WHAT IS IT EXACTLY? ------------------------------- Double Bubble - it's a bubble bath, with a twist. The ... Read the complete review
