Advantages: A kind soap for your skin :)
Disadvantages: Smells a bit like disinfectant (:
We 'Imperial Leather' soap in our house, that's because one of us thinks we're posh and that same person has skin allergies so we use the Gentle Care as it is formulated especially for sensitive skin ;)
There is an offer on where you get two items free so it's six bars instead of four for £1.64 in Wilkinson's...
Made by Cussons in the UK these bars last 36 months once opened and each bar weighs 125g so that really is good value for money (not my money though, lol!).
The bars are rectangle and are hand sized and have the famous brand name on the front on a little red and gold paper label that stays on for ages even when rubbing the white bar vigorously to get it into a lather.
Each one is wrapped in clear plastic to protect it and is in a big outer wrapper that can be recycled.
The soap itself is quite strong smelling even though you would expect it to be unperfumed because it says it is mild. It reminds me of a hospital disinfectant but luckily doesn't smell that bad when you use it on your skin!
The write up says 'Light, fresh fragrance with milk nutrients and vitamin E for sensitive skin' and says it cares for all the family's skin and can be worked into a rich creamy lather.
When I use this soap it is not as bubbly as normal soaps get but nor does it dry out my skin either.
My skin does feel nice and clean and slightly moisturised compared to the blue bar that Imperial Leather do, which smells lovely but does me feeling slightly drier and needing to use skin lotion.
I think this is a really good value for money famous product but the slight disinfectant smell puts me off so four stars from me...
Summary: A good quality product for a good price!
