Advantages: LOVELY COLOURS, GREAT SHAPE BOTTLE

Disadvantages: SMELLS TOO FRUITY, POURS TOO EASILY

I don't seem to be able to walk past a Beauty Shop anymore without the bottles of Bubble Bath enticing me in. Yesterday was just that day, when I was happily walking past my local Bargain Beauty shop, when the bottle of Imperial Leather, Double Bubble Bath Foam called out my name. Not sure how it knew what I was called, but could be that I'm always in the shop.
Now I didn't really need anymore Bubble Bath as I'm still ploughing through the millions of bottles from my Dec Birthday and Xmas, are people trying to say something???.
But because I do like a nice bottle to sit posing on the edge of my bath, I just had to recude it from the dusty old shelves.

First impressions were the delightful enticing colours of Purple and a lovely milky white sat next to each other. This is where the name Double Bubble comes in.
The bottle is divided into two sections each with their own lid, one side is Purple and the other is White. It is quite an unsual shaped bottle with quite feminine shapes, rather like my body ten years ago.
It's made of plastic so you can throw it at your husband if he hasn't washed up, and it won't smash.
The lid is quite large but easy to take off, and underneath are two more lids which you unscrew to release the liquid.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

Well how hard is it? Not very, just unscrew both lids and pour equal amounts under a hot flowing tap for maximum effect. Watch the bubbles rise straightaway, no messing here. I actually dropped miles too much in so be careful,I was surprised how quickly it ran out. Oh well, maybe I will have enough left for one more bath, (joke). The colour mix so well that they were invisible, pity really as I was hoping for a Purple bath.

FRAGRANCE

The fragrance on the bottle says Passion Fruit and Apricot Milk and after taking the lid off to sniff it,I wasn't sure what I thought. I was trying to think all the time I was in the bath to what fragr
ance it reminded me of. It did remind me of Apricots in a way, but I'm not sure what Passionfruit should smell like. Then suddenly it came to me, RHUBARB BLOOMIN CRUMBLE. Well that's the best I can describe it. I didn't know whether I should cook with it or bathe in it. I was quite disappointed as I wanted it to smell all girlie and passionate. But no, it had to remind me of food just when I was trying to cut down with the fattening stuff.
It lathered up well though and I was surrounded by millions of suds, well something had to cover up my wobbly belly.

RESULTS

I was left bewildered not knowing what to think of this product. It claims to moisturise you and cleanse you leaving you thoroughly pampered. What it did do was , it left a stink of Rhubarb stalks round my bathroom all night, smelling as sour as ever.
I wouldn't say I was moisturised, but then my skin is always dry all year round. I probably won't be buying this fragrance again, but I do know there are three or so more in the range.
Maybe I could smell like an Apple next time.

This cost me £1.95 from my local beauty shop and is made by Cussons Imperial Leather.
The size is 500ml, but goes down quickly if you are not careful, it pours out ever so quickly.

WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN?
Not this particular one.

Brilliant Op
I have had the Orange and Honey Milk which is quite good. I have also recieved a free sample of it and guess what?-it was the one that you are writing about! Tried it and the purple and white one is alright. Prefer Radox Herbal Bath though. Love baths too.

I love rhubarb crumble lollipops and sweets so I might give it a try, although some of the other smells in the range might be nicer :) Excellent review.

Fancy throwing things at poor Mr Binnie, LOL. Ooh, you must be ultra clean with all these bath things and that. Trust you and Mr B are well, Belinda? :o)
