"No other mouthwash works in the same way" and that you can "see the evidence in the sink - causes of bad breath are removed and revealed" and you will get "up to 18 hours of fresh breath" Impressive claims, but does it work? After shaking a taking the recommended amount into my mouth the first thing to do is to swirl and rinse round my gums, teeth and tongue, then gargle for about 30 seconds before spitting into the sink. The mouthwash tastes fresh and not overly minty like some and real...more

Premium Review Dentyl pH Mouthwash: Mouthwash without the ming (499 words)

I've tried numerous mouth washes over the years, but never stuck with any of them because of the acidic taste. As much as I want fresh breath and clean teeth, I'm not willing to put up with rinsing my mouth with something that tastes akin to acid and leaves my tastebuds impaired for hours. So, it was with interest that I noticed a TV commercial for Dentyl ph exhilaration triple defence mouthwash. The product offers the same benefits as most other mouth washes on the market (fresh breath, kills and removes bacteria, fights plaque, maintains healthy teeth and gums etc etc), but without the nasty aftertaste. The product comes in two flavours: icy fresh ...  Read the complete review

After the horrible experience of using Listerine mouthwash which burnt my mouth really badly, I was looking in Tesco for a different mouthwash to try. That's when I came across the Dentyl pH range. To be perfectly honest the only reason these grabbed my attention was because of the bright two-phase colours of the liquids, which look so much more interesting than all the other mouthwashes on the shelf. It's quite expensive at £2.91 for a 500ml bottle in Tesco, but it was on a buy one get one free offer at the time, so it was much better value. As far as I'm aware there are 4 flavours available - Icy-fresh Mint, Smooth Mint, Refreshing Clove, and Icy-Fresh ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Dentyl pH Mouthwash: Dentyl's Mental Ways of Submission ? (1349 words)

My favourite brand of mouthwash was always either something clinical like TCP (not just as a mouthwash but also because it had several uses being an antiseptic liquid too) or Listerine as a child, even though my father used a clinical preparation that he eventually got free prescriptions for and is always used and preferred by our dentist, a product called Corsodyl. Corsodyl, if you have tried it has only recently been available in two flavours; its original aniseed flavour and mint flavour does have a strong alcoholic factor to both versions, but does the job well on getting rid of the nasties and bacteria such as plaque and remains to be my number one ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pleaseant Dentyl (721 words)

My friend recommended this mouthwash to me about a year ago, but the price was putting me off, however they had a special offer on at Superdrug, so I thought i'd take the plunge and try it. You can buy either 200ml or a 500ml bottle but I opted for the smaller versions 200ml, 1. Because of the price 2. In case I didn't like it 3. There's 2 flavours to try- the green one being "minty fresh" and The pinky/purple colour "clove" flavour. Not knowing which one to get, I bought both flavours in the 200ml size. Dentyl is sold in a small, tear-drop shaped bottle with the logo Dentyl draped ...  Read the complete review

To me this mouthwash simply can't be beaten! Believe me I've tried so many and this really is far superior quality to any I've ever tried before. As a smoker oral hygiene is incredibly important to me. I smoke over 40 fags a day at the moment so not only do I want teeth whitening products I also need mouth freshening and scum removing products too! All of the mouthwashes in this range are alcohol free, multi-phased formula's and contain antibacterial agent CPC to deliver that deep clean feel for up to 18 hours. Proven to kill the causes of bad breath and give good oral hygiene attacking plaque. Packaging.... There are 3 different ...  Read the complete review
