Even though it's been our for a good few years now, I only tried Dentyl PH a few weeks ago. I've been using Boots own brand for years and I never had any reason to complain, but my friend told me about Dentyl and I decided to give it a go as she was so impressed by it.

Available in several different flavours, I bought the Mint flavour. Anything else wouldn't taste like proper mouthwash to me! I paid £2.30 in my local chemist for it.

The first thing that you notice about Dentyl PH is that the liquid is two different colours. The mint is a light blue and green colour. The idea is that before using, you shake the bottle to mix the two ingredients, this activates the enhanced mouth cleaning solution. One of the ingredients in Dentyl PH is Zabactyl. This is used to remove the bacteria etc from the inside of your mouth. You only need to swill or gargle for about 45 seconds before spitting and the tv advert is true, you can actually see what bacteria has been removed from your mouth! To be honest I was pretty disgusted the first time I did it, but the old saying is true; Better out than in!

I was really impressed by Dentyl PH and even though it is more expensive than my previous brand, I will certainly be using it again. My teeth and mouth felt really clean, my breath was fresh and the taste of the mouthwash was not as strong as others, so it still tasted fresh, but didn't burn off the top layer of my mouth.
