I went on holiday to Tenerife recently and before I went I brought a bottle of Dove anti perspirant roll on deodorant. I had never used this product before, but I was looking for a new deodorant with a nice fresh smell. I had seen a lot of adverts for before I brought it in magazines and on the television about how it contains moisturising cream. So off I went to Boots to purchase some.

There are two different fragranced dove deodorants to choose from and they are both available in boots. There was original, which had a dark blue cap and fresh, which has a light blue cap. I decided to buy the Fresh, the reason for this was because I was hoping it would keep me dry and fresh all day long whilst I was lazing in the sun.

The small white bottle contains 50ml of Dove anti perspirant deodorant and cost £1.35 although you can find this cheaper in other shops.

The product information can be found by lifting off the sticker that is attached to the back of the bottle and it warns you not to apply it to damaged or irritated skin.

The deodorant bottle is shaped so that it is easy to hold and it has a large roller ball top which makes the deodorant easy to apply.

When you apply the anti perspirant to your underarms by holding the bottle upside down you can see that it leaves a milky coloured thin layer on your skin. It is only lightly fragranced with a lovely fresh smell that isn’t too strong.

Dove contains essential nutrients and moisturising cream that aims to keep your skin healthy and soft. I found that the product did do this.

You should allow the deodorant to dry before putting on your clothes.

The weather in Tenerife was lovely, hot and sunny, just as I had been hoping for. I applied this deodorant every morning before going out and every evening after showering and it worked really well. It kept me dry and smelling clean and fresh. Another important thing is that it did not leave any white mark
s on my darker coloured clothes.

I have been using this deodorant since returning home and it kept me dry all day at work too. The bottle lasts about 6 weeks depending on how much you apply and how often. I have only been using it once a day since I got home rather than twice a day like when I was on holiday and it works just as good.

I would recommend this to other people. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I found that it didn’t cause me any irritation.

Summary:
