Also you can apply it when wet rather that having to wait for you to dry off completely and I find that it doesn't detriment the effect. However one thing that I've found that whether you're dry or wet, it sometimes still leaves a powdery residue behind sometimes which can get on your clothes and become a little irritable after time. That aside though, it is designed for sensitive skinned people. I suffer...more

Premium Review Dove Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Spray: ~# Dove - pays chimps to work for them. #~ (It's true!) (916 words)

I remember (not so long ago really) when Dove used to be known predominantly as a bar of soap, and they used to have those adverts with the PH testing strip! Now-a-days though, Dove sells a wide range of products (they may have done before, but I don't remember them, I just remember the soap!) from soap to bubble bath and deodorant (which comes in more than one 'flavour' now - I bought the 'Fresh Touch' one). (Having just skimmed over my review I notice that I alternate between calling this an anti-perspirant and a deodorant - this product is an anti-perspirant deodorant, just to clear up any confusion). ~ Come on quick, I only have 5 seconds... ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Doesn't work and smells to strong (247 words)

I received a gift set of Dove products last Xmas and the anti-perspirant was one of the items contained within. It's only a trial size and until recently I hadn't bothered with it but as I'm working my way through the set to make use of the present I thought I'd give it a try. Obviously I have no inkling of the price, it was a gift and contained minis so I've no idea how much the full size costs and I know I won't bother to look after my experience with it. It has the familiar Dove smell but is very strong, when you've sprayed this on all you can smell is Dove and frankly perfumes can't compete. The smell doesn't reduce either, it's completely ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Dove Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Spray: Perspire or Expire? (707 words)

Well, it had to happen. I ran out of my Original Source lemon deodorant and had to find something else. Whereas I am quite happy with my Avon stick anti-perspirant, it’s rather too pink and girlie for hubby to wear. So there I was in the local chemist, perusing the shelves. I wanted a good brand name, a unisex fragrance and a price that didn’t make me cough. Unfortunately, I ended up with a unisex brand name, a good price and a fragrance that makes me cough! Better luck next time, eh? So, let me tell you a bit about this product, so you can make your own mind up. Dove is a well-respected brand, famous for its ¼ moisturising claims. Having ...  Read the complete review

In general I like to purchase Imperial Leather Original Anti-Perspirant but it is becoming increasingly difficult to find lately so I've been trying out several other brands in order to find a suitable replacement for when I can't find it. It was as a result of trying and testing new brands that I first stumbled upon Dove Anti-Perspirant. Dove is manufactured by Elida Fabergé Limited and is a relatively new product in the Anti-Perspirant market although it has now been around for a few years and is a well respected and well known brand. Dove is available as a moisturising stick Anti-Perspirant and as an aerosol spray anti-perspirant, it is ...  Read the complete review
