Advantages: good feel afterwards

Disadvantages: a little dear

In these harsh winter months when there is no money, no sunshine and nobody to do anything with, you often feel like getting into bed at half past four in the afternoon when it turns dark outside. I have recently taken to having two baths a day, as my hands and toes have been getting chilly and well, I need something to structure my day.

A normal bath in just plain old water is dull, so a bit of indulging is required every once in a while. I love to add things to my bath, whether it is products from Lush stores or drops of lavender to soothe the senses. I have tried a few Dove products and found them good for old, dry, cracked and withered skin. I am not old or withered, not am I especially cracked, but the Dove range does feel like you are applying cream all over you which is obviously a good thing.

You use this like a bubble bath, pour under warm water than froth around with the hand a bit to help disperse it evenly. The idea then is to get in and let the creamy mixture envelope you like some kind of ghoulish fog sweeping over your body. Nothing foggy here though, just a mild and nourishing bath mix which leaves the skin relaxed and soft and senses calm and genteel. You do not need a lot, just a capful to fill the bath up with. I am ashamed to say, this is perhaps more for older ladies, so a bloke should not admit to liking bath stuff so much, but it does leave you feeling lovely and you will feel compelled to keep stroking yourself after.

A bottle can cost up to three quid and should last about two months.

Summary: soft
