I recieved a little trial bottle of this shower gel a few weeks ago from dove, i decided last night after finishing off the shower gel i had been using to give this a try. I was quite excited about trying this as i love anything fruit smelling. The shower gel comes in a lovely peach shimmering plastic bottle that can be stored up to 12 months of opening it, not that shower gel lasts that long in our house. The bottle tells me it is white ginger and nectarine scented and contains 1/4 moisturising cream. When it comes top shower gels it's something I really do get through an awful lot of really. I shower most days unless having a bath which is rare since I've been feeling unwell lately so I'm seriously getting through a lot of shower products! I was pleased however to receive a bottle of this free through the post! I'm not sure why I did or if I filled something out late one night online but a full bottle of this I got and who am I to question a freebie lol! Dove's latest shower-time offering usually costs around £2.23 for 250ml (but Asda and Sainsbury's currently have it on offer) and comes packaged in the now slightly tired but instantly recognisable plain, oval/teardrop shaped, bottle with blue Dove logo and the little golden bird in flight. The difference here is that the bottle is peach-coloured and sports a picture of what looks like a crying or possibly sweating nectarine apparently sitting on and almost strangling what I presume is a white ginger flower. Somehow or other I've ended up on Doves mailing list and with every product launch I get a discout voucher through the door and most importantly a free sample. The "burst" launch was no different, although in place of the usual single use foil bubble I got a minature bottle of the actual product. At 55ml its a fifth the size of the real thing, which is currently only available in the 250ml size, but that was enough to send me dashing to the shower at the earliest oppportunity. The bottle in question is curvaceous, a little like an inverted exclamation mark without the dot.
