Advantages: Small packaging, clean smell, dry armpits!

As you can tell by some of my previous reviews I am a big fan of Dove products and have been using them for some time now. One of my everyday favourites and one I keep turning to is the Dove anti-perspirant deodorant stick.

I have tried many different products along the way, sticks, roll-ons and sprays but this is one I keep coming back to time after time, even after I tried some of the Dove sprays I sill find this one works best for me.

The Dove brand has been gaining more recognition lately by real beauty advertising campaigns and with the launch of new products such as hair care, has brought this brand back into the lime light. Most people will associate Dove with the soap campaigns, all about containing ¼ moisturising cream and being pH neutral. This was one of the campaigns that drew me to this brand in the first place as I sometimes suffer sensitive skin and wanted something that was a little kinder.

The deodorant also contains ¼ moisturisers in it and also contains no alcohol which means that you don't suffer that nasty stinging when using this after hair removal (although it does say on the label not to use it on broken or irritated skin, I've never had a problem yet).

The one I tend to go for is the original scent although you can also get this in a sensitive, invisible dry and silk dry range too. The deo is in a solid stick which is sort of a creamy solid formula that you twist up as you use it. The packaging is fairly simple and I like the fact that it's small in size as when I'm travelling about it doesn't take up much room.

It smells quite soapy which I like as it keeps me feeling and smelling fresh and clean throughout the day and I can stand by the claim that it lasts 24 hours, I know that even on hot sticky days this little deo will see me through no problems without the need to re-apply.

A 40ml tube of this will set you back about #1.89 which for me is a bargain as it lasts me a good 2-3 months of every day use before I have to buy another one. I really value this product as it's never let me down in the years I've been using it and it helps to keep my armpits soft and smooth without irritation, in fact even when I get a touch of eczema (which thankfully doesn't happen often), I can still use this no problems without worrying about exacerbating the problem.

Definitely one thing I couldn't live without!
