I firmly believe I'll buy this again (Dove Firming Wash)

Advantages: easy to use, good results, lovely smell

Disadvantages: effects don't last too long & can't read ingredients easily

I love my body washes, bath creams, shower gels etc & was pleased to find this Dove Firming Body Wash in one of our local pound shops. The sturdy plastic bottle is 250ml & has a good strong flip-top cap which is easy to open & close keeping the wash smelling fresh & preventing leakage of any sort. ( my daughter left a flip-top unclosed the other day & the bathroom was full of bubble bath - took me ages to clear it all up!)

The packaging is smart, as you'd expect from Dove, & it's clearly marked Firming Body Wash & that it contains seaweed extract which I've used before in washes etc with good results.

The wash itself is a very green colour & is about the same consistency as a shampoo - not too runny but not so thick that it gunges up the hole.

The smell is lovely - not too feminine but fresh & subtle & once used & rinsed off it still smells good on the skin for quite a while afterwards.

All the ingredients are provided in tiny print on the reverse of the bottle - there are loads of them but the only ones I recognise are aqua & glycerin!

It's really easy to use this Firming Body Wash - you basically just massage it in, paying particualr attention to those areas which to firm up (in my case -ALL!) & rinse off in the shower.

Well I personally found that my skin not only felt moisturised & fresh but also slighly firmer on my bum, tum & upper arms. To be honest I didn't measure these areas as they might do in a spa, but I could 'pinch less than an inch' after use.

I'm not saying that it's a miracle product or that the effects lasted more than a few hours but what I can say is that my skin felt nourished & smelled nice.
