I have used Dove Deororants for quite a while now and the latest product of theirs is from their Go Fresh range. The Go Fresh collection, includes the smells Energising Grapefruit and Lemongrass, Cooling Freshmint and Waterlilly and Exhilirating bursts of Nectarine and white Ginger. The Go Fresh range promises to either stay cool, feel fresh or get energised with the exciting above fragrances. It is a fairly new range and so far in my opinion has done quite well.

I have already tried is the Fresh Touch cucumber and green tea scent anti perspirant deodorant so I thought I would try a different flavour this time and I decided to get energised and try the grapefruit and lemongrass scent. What firstly attracted me to it as opposed to their other deodorants was the smell. I love grapefruit the actual fruit to eat because it is so zesty, sweet and tasty so if I can smell like that too I thought that would be quite fun! I also liked it because it came in a spray and I wanted something that wouldn't leave white marks on my dark clothing so this product fir the bill perfectly.

The can came in a 150ml size. The outer tin is white and then the top of it was a light yellow colour, just like grapefruit with a cover over the spray mechanism. It also has a picture of half a grapefruit on the front as well as some sprigs of lemongrass so you know which fragrance you have purchased. I found that the spray worked really well. It doesn't clog and it also at a really good angle meaning that when you hold the bottle under your arm and spray you are actually targeting the underarm where you want to reach and not spraying the deodorant into thin air which is always a pain. Dove say on the actual can that this goes on clean and fresh and I do find that, it dries instantly and leaves you fresh straight away which is niceThe deodorant does not sting also when you apply it to your underarms which is nice, even if you have just shaved as so many generally tend to do.

Dove describe this fragrance as having a crisp nature, and that the inspired fragrance is a refreshing, light sensation for your underarms. I wasn't completely thrilled with the smell however, it did definitely smell like grapefruit but wasn't as light and fresh as I had of hoped. Saying that though it is a pleasant fragrance and one that you could wear without feeling self-conscious. I could smell it all throughout the day as it kept my underarms really fresh and dry well on into the evening which is nice. I find it's a fragrance that you can definitely smell but one that is not too strong. You can also mix this smell with your perfume and not have to worry that you have different fragrances on. Dove do say that this deodorant will give you 24 hour protection and I would definitely be inclined to agree.

I bought this product in Boots and it cost me £1.95. As it lasts for a long time I definitely think this is good value for money and a product that really works.
