Advantages: Works, natuiral, fresh smell, cheap.
Disadvantages: None as far as I can see.
My usual deodorant, Sure Ultra Dry, ran out a couple of days ago, so I went to my local Boots in search of another one, I thought I'd try something different and seeing that I had a Boots voucher for any Dove deodorant. Personally, I've used Dove body moisturiser before, and thought it was actually quite good, but never used any of the deodorants before, but assumed that they would be just as good quality as the other Dove products. I finally settled on buying Dove Go Fresh Deodorant.
Firstly, I guess I could say that the actual deodorant bottle was fairly attractive and really eye catching with the lemon and green colours on the white background colour, so I personally thought it was really eye catching. Another attention grabbing feature about Dove Go Fresh was the fact it has 0% Alcohol included in the actual deodorant, which I personally think is a good thing because having Alcohol in certain deodorants and body sprays, can actually irate and sting the skin, and with sensitive skin, it's really good to find a good deodorant without Alcohol inside, a real advantage and selling point for Dove Go Fresh.
So applying the actual deodorant was easy enough, like more spray on deodorants, you apply by spraying in the armpit, with the bottle around 4-6cm away from the actual armpit, and it was similar to most deodorants I've tried to be honest. The actual deodorant did have a very fresh and unique smell of it, unlike most deodorants I've tried which can smell to strongly of perfume, but Dove Go Fresh smelt almost natural and fresh, without the stronger perfume smell, or being to overpowering, which some deodorants I've tried have been like, especially most of the Sure deodorants,
Now the really test, how well did it work as a deodorant? So I tired Dove GO Fresh yesterday, on a fairly hot day, to see how well it actually worked, I was very surprised actually, because it did work all the time I was outside, and it did keep me feeling fairly fresh and was nice and light, so it wasn't strong like other deodorants. But I would agree with the 24 hour protection, as it did begin to wear off by the evening, but it gave me protection for when I needed it, so still a thumbs up from me.
Like most deodorants, Dove Go Fresh is available at most shops like Boots and Superdrug, and other big known supermarkets as well. Prices vary between shops, but is sold around 1-5 pounds. It comes in 3 scents currently.
Summary: You should buy this!
