I find it difficult to find a deodorant that I can really trust, after Sure stopped doing clear roll-ons which worked great for me and started only doing white, creamy deodorants which never seem to dry and just leave me feeling sticky. Until, I spotted an advert for Dove Hair Minimising deodorant. I had always been keen to try Dove deodorants as they claim to give you super smooth, soft underarms instead of the spotty, razor-torn wastelands that I seem to have, and here was one promising to minimise the horrid stubbly feeling inbetween shaves, bonus! So I bought the roll-on as opposed to the spray as I felt it would be more effective as a skin ... Read the complete review

I recently saw the new Hair Minimising deodorant from Dove at a good price in Boots so I decided to try it. I figured that, since it was Dove, it would be a good deodorant and it would be interesting to see if it actually worked to minimize the hair regrowth. To begin with I have said many times that when it comes to deodorant it has to be Dove for me. Not only does it work well at keeping me dry and odour free but it is also ideal for using straight after shaving as it does not sting. I have been known to occasionally try others but I always come back to my trusted Dove. I always go for the roll on version, which is easy to use and it always dries ... Read the complete review

I hate having underarm hair, I really don't see the point of it but I hate hair removal creams as they're so messy and smelly, and refuse to have them waxed again. I once did and nearly ended up on the ceiling it was that painful. I shave them now which I have to do every other day, it's not ideal as my skin can be a little sensitive and unless I fork out a fortune on top notch razors I tend to nick the skin, ouch. I thought my prayers had been answered when I spotted a new deodorant advertised by Dove, one that is hair minimising as well as keeping you sweet and fresh, sounded perfect. I found it for sale in Boots and was was almost put off my ... Read the complete review

This review is actually for the spray can, not the roll on, but I'm sure it has the same effect :) If not, sorry! After seeing loads of adverts about this deoderant I thought it must be good, so I tried it out. I bought it for about £2 in Tesco. I chose 'Silk Lily' as the scent but Wild Rose is also quite nice. I used it consistently for around 2 or 3 months, however long the can lasted and all the time I kept thinking 'maybe the hair minimising thing will work soon' but it never did. I didn't expect it to make my underarms completely hairless, but I thought it might just slow down the growth of hair or something. However nothing happened, even after ... Read the complete review

I have been using this deodorant for a few months now, starting from when I saw it on offer in Boots. So firstly does it work as a deodorant? My answer is yes. I've tried loads of deodorants and find that this is one of the few that keeps me fresh right up until bedtime. It also works well as an antiperspirant. I personally hate any deodorant I can smell, I prefer them to be as close to odorless as possible, and this fits the bill. If you want a strongly scented one this is not for you. The main selling point for this is the hair minimising nature. I have to be honest and say I haven't really noticed any serious difference. I still need to shave as ... Read the complete review
