Being a fan of Dove by Unilever of course I own a couple of deodorants in the range. I don't use them every day and actually forgot I had this one stuffed in a drawer (shame on me lol) so I dug it out the other day and have been using it since! I never buy roll ons. I don't like the wet lotion applied under my arms and me having to flap like a chicken so that no lotion is applied to my clothes or any white marks and this is why I've been using Right Guard spray for a good while now cos I trust it implicitly! However this is different... read on lol The Roll On... Is a white plastic recyclable easy to hold 50 bottle type thing with a ... Read the complete review

It was whilst I was in my local (independent) pharmacy waiting for a prescription to be made up that I noticed several anti-perspirant deodorants were available to buy for what seemed to be a fairly reasonable price. Available in either a roll-on or a spray aerosol, I decided to try the "Dove Silk Dry" aerosol spray as I have come to trust the Dove brand in general over the past few years or so. Packaged in a rather slick-looking white canister with a magnolia-coloured design on the front of the can, and a matching plastic lid in the same magnolia colour, I was instantly attracted to the product given the little design to the front of the can that ... I used to only ever use aerosol deodorants as I found roll-ons too wet but when I went travelling I wanted something smaller that wouldn't take up much room in my backpack as well as something that would last a lot longer. I stumbled upon the large selection of Dove deodorants and decided to purchase one of these are they were reduced to only £1 and I know Dove is a good brand. I wouldn't have considered getting a cheaper brand or a shop's own brand as I tend to sweat under the arms sometimes so I needed something with a good reputation that would keep me nice and dry. I chose the Silk Dry option as it looked like it would have a plainish smell and I didn't ... Read the complete review

Last Christmas I received one of the big Dove gift sets and, as Dove is amongst my favourites in the bathroom, I was thrilled! Part of the said gift set was an aerosol deodorant - Silk Dry. When it comes to deodorant I usually go for Dove but would always choose the roll on variety for preference but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth! The full name of this one is Dove Deodorant Silk Dry and the writing on the front of the can says 'with silk extracts anti perspirant % alcohol'. As you probably know the various varieties of Dove deodorants come with different coloured lids and this one is the one with the beige ... Read the complete review

I am not a lover of roll-on deodorants and it has been many years since I last used one. I have always preferred the aerosol ones. However, my usual brand 'Natrel' has recently changed into a 'new better fragrance' variety which is in a smaller can and isn't as efficient, so I was looking for a different deodorant that I could rely on. The price of aerosol deodorants has really rocketed and I didn't want to pay over £2 for a can of something I might not like. I am familiar with Dove and generally like their products so I thought I would try this. The plastic bottle with the 'rollerball' top is made of white recyclable plastic and has a ...
