The thought was better than the reality (Dove Silk Glow Body Lotion)

Advantages: Smells nice

Disadvantages: Didn't produce the sexy, results i was hoping for

I usually like Dove products as i have sensitive skin and find that their products are usually quite gentle and don't irritate my skin. When i got out i think it's nice to have a bit of a healthy glow or sparkle - particularly if you have just got back from a holiday it gives you a really nice look. So when i returned from Egypt recently i thought i would look for a shimmer lotion as someone on the plane had one on and it looked fab. I tried Dove because as previously mentioned my skin is sensitive and i didn't want any outbreaks or rashes. Far from being luxurious i thought it was quite a runny lotion which smells nice but did little to moisturise my skin and rather than having a sexy shimmer i looked more like i had put glitter on myself and i found it really irritating to my skin and it also came off on my clothes and is hard to get out. Also you would think showering would get rid of all the 'shimmer particles' but i was finding them for days afterwards!

Summary: I wouldn't buy this again and will stick to a different product from now on
