I received my Dove Silk Glow Body lotion for Christmas as it was part of a Dove Gift Set.
I am a big fan of Dove products and always use Dove Soap, deodorant etc so I was keen to try this out.

It comes in a plastic bottle with handy flip-top lid. The size is 250ml.

On the front of the bottle it tells me that Silk Glow body lotion will give my skin a silky glow, with soft light reflecting particles.

I must admit I don't always use body lotion, even though I often intend to put some on, sometimes I am in a bit of a rush or just too lazy after a shower or bath!
However, I have recently been on holiday abroad and took my silk glow body lotion with me. I used it every day while I was away on holiday and have continued to use it on my return as I try to preserve and hang on to my tan for as long as possible!

I found it works really well and prevents my skin from drying out. I have not experienced my skin flaking or drying out at all whilst using this body lotion, and I am going to continue using it, as I am so pleased with the results.
I love the light reflecting particles that shimmer on my skin. These show up especially in the sunshine where I can see the tiny gold shimmering bits on my arms!

First time I used this body lotion, I squirted too much from the bottle, so I should point out that a little bit goes a long way! It absorbs very well and is much easier to rub into your skin if you only use a little bit at a time.

It has a nice smell, which reminds me of the fragrance of Dove Soap and a slight cocoa butter fragrance.

Using this daily I find it leaves my skin looking healthy and silky smooth and it is one of the best body lotions I have used. It has quickly become my favourite!
For the ultimate pamper treat, I recommend a soak in the bath with Dove Soft Silk beauty bath.

Dove Silk Glow body lotion is available from Boots, Superdrug etc as well as supermarkets. Prices vary as there are often a lot of special offers to be had on Dove products, but the usual price when not on offer is between £3-£4.

Summary: A great body lotion for silky, radiant skin.
