Advantages: Soft, smooth supple skin, clean, clear aroma
Disadvantages: Makes me sleep!!!!
Dove is part of the Unilever group. This is one of those groups that produces absolutely everything from cleaning products to crisps!!! It was found in 1894, although Dove has only been around since the 1950's, when it started with the cream bar. They produce basic, quality beauty products -Don't expect anything amazingly new or out there, but just great staple products.
I love a steamy bath in any weather and particularly when it's filled with skin-nutricious, scented, luscious stuff!!!!!
This comes in 250ml and 500ml bottles (and they are half price at Boots currently, normally £2-4.00)
The bottle is cream and almost like a long droplet with a flat bottom!
It is several shades of cream divided by design. The liquid is also cream with a shimmer to it!
I usually only have to put about 5-10ml in to make it noticeable, but I do tend to overdose my baths!!!
I has a more potent scent than some of the other Dove products (very much so if you smell the open bottle) but this is probably primarily because it does get diluted. Though strong it is a very airy pure smell, without too many combinations, that is very breathable and bearable. Once dry it leaves a lingeringly breezy light scent on your skin that you can smell (and anyone else close to you) but although this is satisfyingly present it doesn't clash with any perfume. I think there is an additional scent in this as I always feel very relaxed and dozy when I get out!!! Do not use before operating heavy machinery!!!!!
Aside from the standard Dove moisturiser there is Silk extract in this product. I find this definitely helps my skin look dewy and clear as well as feeling much more elastic. It does feel refined at first but this does not last long.
Summary: Re spring silky soft skin
