Advantages: Great for winter

Disadvantages: Dont last forever

I play dart every tuesday night and had the overwhelming compliments i have had in ages, why? you ask, well it's all down to this wonderful product " Dove summer glow body lotion"

I love having a tan, it really makes me feel good, so after exfoliating in the shower (which you need to do before you put any fake tan on) i started to get to work on putting this lotion on.

*********The bottle********

The size is about the size of my hand, from nail to wrist and contains 250ml of cream. The bottle is a cream colour with words Dove written in big letters and a little picture of one too in gold (sweet). There has a handy little bar with different type of shades on it, mine is normal to darker skin, which is in the middle but i know you can get for paler skin or really dark skin.

The idea behind this lotion is to moisturise your skin as well as leaving you with a tan, which i think is an exellent idea, as i in the past of trying loads of different types of fake tans with these instructions:

1. Exfoliate
2. Moisturise dry areas e.g Knees (just incase you get patchy)
3.Apply fake tan
4. results: END UP LIKE AN ORANGE.

So as you can tell i am pretty excited about this product because you dont have to do that, on the other hand i do still exfoliate as i think it is very important to get rid of the dry skin.

So after coming out of the shower and dried myself dry i opened the cap up and began the process of becoming a sun worshipper.

*****Application*****

On looking at the instruction it say's.
Apply daily all over to gradually build a light tan. Allow to absorb totally befor dressing. Wash hands after use. Does not replace sun protection. Avoid contact with eyes. If eye cotact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
Ok so i started with my legs, i noticed is was quite a thick cream that was cream in colour and that a little went a long way, in fact i found that i used it too much and was starting to get concerned, so i ended up rubbing the cream on other parts of my anatomy because i just used way too much, lol. It does absorb really well and made a point of using it on my face too.
Now i did wait till it was dry before making myself look decent, as it says, (maybe as a risk of you staining your clothes.)

****After****

During the day i have to admit i did notice that on touching, my skin did feel reasonably soft and i did smell nice, it was only when i went to darts that my friends thought i was glowing, so since then i have been using it loads.

But.... there has to be some faults.

On using it a few times i noticed parts of my body was darker in places and that inbetween one of my fingers was brown, so when they say wash your hands they mean VERY WELL, but i think personally it is a great product and would recommend to anyone.
I would say that if you have already a nice tan that this product would also compliment it too.

Hope you enjoyed reading my review :) xx

P.s this product has been dermatologically tested.

Good review, by the way that's not a 1303 because that was my first car and it was a era in my life. All the best with that Bug, may she look after you 'beep beep'.
