Subtle glow, but possible allergic reaction. (Dove Summer Glow Body Lotion)
Member Name: ktbainbridge
Advantages: No streaks Disadvantages: Allergy issues I used the johnsons version of this product all last summer to give me a glow, it worked, people commented on it. The only downside was that it got a little bit streaky, so this year I decided to go for a different product in an attempt to avoid that look! I tried Dove first as it was on special offer at tescos, half price. Due to how pale my skin is I always try the fair to medium skin. I applied this after every shower for a few days and immediately noticed the difference, in two ways. The good way, my skin glowed a little more, not drastically, enough for me to notice and be happy with, but not enough for others to notice. It depends how subtle you are aiming for with this one. The bad way, my skin became spotty starting with my legs and spreading all over. After a few days the itching was unbearable and I went to the doctors. I was told I had an allergic reaction to something. I am not saying this was the moisturiser, but I was suspicious. My advice is to try a patch test for a few days with this, and then if it works great, you will have a lovely glow. Summary: Possible allergy issues, but created subtle glow |
