Advantages: Non- greasy, smells good, even, no fingers, sheen on the skin
Disadvantages: None
Dove is a Unilever brand name.
The Summer glow Body lotion is a relatively new realease from them. It comes in 250 ml and 400 ml bottles. The bottles are a cylindrical elipsse (If that makes sense - if not see the picture). They do have some curving design on them, but this is really just for effect. At £5.00 for the smaller and £7.00 for the large, I often find this is a little premium priced, but I managed to pick up a cheap bottle (£3.00 LARGE at a discount supermarket) and now I cannot replace it on a discount I am going to be sorely tempted to buy one at full price!!!
The liquid is quite thin and drippy!!! The hole is quite big (a little too big really) and so you do get alot in your had from a very gentle twist and press!
It is a deep cream colour (this is the fair-med one).
I love the smell of dove products - Fresh and light soapy smell is probably the best I can do. It does smell compatibly similar to their shampoos, conditioner, body wash, cream bath and the infamous creme bar!!! It felt just as relieving on my skin as any good moisturiser, prevented flakiness and did seem to make my skin smother to the touch and gave it it places almost (dare I say it) baby softness
The colour builds up very naturally and gradually (although I started seeing it literally within 2 days). My legs have gone a pretty woody colour with a really nice sheen to them with ne finger marks and no burning (obviously....)
I admit I haven't been carefully applying it!!!! I have just thrown it on as, when and where I needed it!!! Impressively the only patches that don't seem to have caught the colour are my heels and the insides of my forearms so I just need to do some top ups there!!!
Summary: Safely sunkissed soft skin
