Dove is the only brand of deodarant that I'm able to use given my incredibly sensitive skin so when this deodarant was released, I obviously had to give it a go. Although I was slightly discouraged by the price (£2.83 for a 150ml bottle), I was eager to find out if the deodarant was effective in doing what it claimed to do. I used the deodarant and purchased another two bottles, willing to give the product a chance to have an effect. However, I noticed absolutely no effect with regards to hair minimising - I still had to shave around every 2-3 days which was no different to how often I normally did. I must however admit that the ... Read the complete review

The one thing I get through tons of is deodorant! I'm addicted to the stuff that's why (and not cos I stink...honest lol) but as a regular gym bunny where it's hunk heaven I'm aware that I look like a sweaty minger but I don't want to smell like one too! I prefer spray on antiperspirants as I personally find roll on's as a rule to wet and the creamy kind seem to eat my skin and burn me so these are my best option. The crystal one's that are rather natural also tend to sting my skin and lets not talk about any 'Lush' offerings either! So I stick to what I know and when I saw this reduced to £1.99 (on offer in Boots), not only by Dove (a brand I'm totally in ... Read the complete review

I first discovered this product about a month ago while purusing the shelves of my local supermarket but decided to give it a proper trail before writing a review on, I think it's had long enough now so here goes... Dove By now most people will be familiar with Dove products for both men and women. Dove make shampoos, conditioners, deodorants and anti perspirants, soap and body washes, bubble baths, body lotions and hand lotions. Dove also operate the campaign for real beauty which incorporates the self esteem fund, everybody will have seem the ads which try to banish the stereo-typical idea of a beautiful woman (e.g a stick thin model) and use real women ... I am always keen to try new products so when I spotted a new Dove deodorant on offer in Tesco I decided to give it a try. I had already seen the advert that promised that using this deodorant would not only keep you smelling sweet with dry pits, but would also minimise underarm hair! I couldn't wait to see if the claims were true! The deodorant comes in a dusky pink, slim metal container and looks quite pretty in my view. It is easy to hold and spray too, so full marks here. The deodorant is available in 3 fragrances-wild rose, natural fresh and silky lily. I choose the natural fresh fragrance as I thought it would have the same scent as other Dove products ... I am going to describe to you all the experiment I conducted before writing this review as I wanted to know whether this product REALLY worked before I started recommending it to anyone else. To begin with I have said many times that when it comes to deodorant it has to be Dove for me. Not only does it work well but it is also ideal for using straight after shaving with no stinging. I do occasionally try others but I always come back to Dove. I always go for the roll on version, which is easy to use and it always dries almost instantly, which is a big plus for any roll on deodorant. Many times in the past I have used other roll on deodorants and ... Read the complete review
