Dove triple moisturising beauty care body wash has been a favourite of mine for a good few years. When Dove first came onto the market, I used to buy their soap. I have dry skin and it really helped to stop it drying as had happened with other soaps. When they bought out a body wash I was sold! A 400ml bottle costs around £2.95, but it is often on buy one get one free in boots and supermarkets.

The packaging has changed little over the years, this, this original dove wash is packaged in a white bottle with a blue flip top. It has a simple design with the dove logo on the front of the bottle. Dove have bough out a whole range of body washes now, so if you want the original you need to look for the white bottle. It's easy to get all of the product out of the bottle even when there is only a little bit left. The flip up cap can be a bit tricky to open, it's quite stiff and difficult if you have slippery hands in the bath or shower.

The product itself is a white cream of medium consistency. It has a pleasant fragrance, just nice and fresh, not too 'perfumey.' So, what about the 'triple' moisturising? Well, firstly, it gently cleanses the skin whilst smoothing and softening with 1/4 moisturising cream. Secondly, it keeps the moisture locked into the skin. Finally, it helps the skin to maintain it's natural moisture and softness....this is how the people at dove put it anyway!

My personal experience is that this body wash is very moisturising, I'm not entirely sure about the triple effect. It's great on my dry skin. It is also the best product I have ever used as a shaving cream! (on my legs, I know you have all seen my review for facial wax strips!) I've bought loads of shaving cream/oil type products for women over the years, but this beats them all. You get a really close shave and your skin stays nice and soft. This is the most moisturising body wash I have used.

On the other hand, my husband has eczema, and he thinks using this body wash makes it flare up. I have really sensitive skin and it doesn't give me any problems.

Dove recommend that you use this every day, not just occasionally. Normally I would think this was just to get you to buy more of the product, but in this case I actually believe it to be true. If you use it daily, your skin feels very different.

Definitely worth the money and worth a try.

Summary: Use it every day for baby soft skin.
