Advantages: none for me
Disadvantages: pain, pain, more pain
I was first prescribed this product a number of years ago. Although following all directions to the letter, the pain which followed the application meant that I had to wash the product off almost immediately. Not one to be discouraged, I returned to the doctor, who agreed that the marks remaining under my arms (which now resembled severe bruising)did indicate that there was a problem, although this was my skin, not the product. Hydracortisone cream was prescribed, and willingly I tried again. Exactly the same result. Having left it well alone for a few years, last summer desperation got the better of me, and I attempted it again. Having convinced myself that the pain could not possibly have been as bad as I'd imagined, and that with age came hardness! Yet again, i had to dash to the neatest sink and douse myself with cold water. The moral of this story is sensitive skin does not get better, and that a product which hurts like hell once will do so again. I would recomment a visit to the doctors, and a course of bromide tablets. These do work, and there is no pain involved, although I do believe that my fingertips swell slightly (??!)
