Advantages: Stops Sweat

Disadvantages: PAIN, SKIN RASH, NOT LONG TERM

I started sweating and soon realised that no matter what deodrant i used it didn't help. After feeling paranoid about damp patches under my arms and after taking showers 7 times in one day I eventually went to see my doctor feeling like a complete freak.

My doctor said hyperhidrosis is very difficult to treat and he perscribed some Driclor.

I went away and used the Driclor, the first applications for me were completley painless, however the problem persisted. I carried on using it and then realised i stopped sweating completley. However the feeling of being warm still continuued. Driclor became more painfull to use and i have now stopped using the product after about a month after i had to go back to the doctor because of the skin irritation it cause. I now have a steriod cream just to get rid of the rash its caused, and once its gone the sweating will no doubt return.

I feel let down by driclor, its by no means a long term solution and i'm currently trying to find other ways such as collagen injections (which last aprox 1 year) instead of using this product which has probably been perscribed because its cheaper then alternatives.

Sorry for the SU rating, but I knew nothing about this product before reading your opinion on it, and I don't know a great deal more now. I think you need to include mroe information, for example, how is it applied, does it have a smell, did it stop you sweating over your whole body, or just where you applied it?
