I recently purchased E45 cream for the first time, having being told by my doctor that I had developed eczema on my legs. I had been suffering with really dry and itchy skin, and my usual Clarins moisturiser didn't seem to be mking much difference. The doctor prescribed me a medicated cream to use for two weeks, and after this, advised E45. I picked up a 50g tube of E45 to try, for the bargain price of £1.70 in Boots. It it also available in 125g, 350g and 500g. I have been using the cream every day for a couple of weeks now, and have noticed a considerable improvement in my dry skin. When I first came off the medicated cream, I could see my ... Read the complete review

I don't usually suffer from dry skin, but I noticed that I had some on my knees which looked unsightly and didn't feel brilliant under my trousers so I decided I'd need to use some moisturiser on them to try an help the dryness. As a loyal ASDA customer, I waited until I went shopping to see if they had some e45, as I had used this on my son when he was younger and it had worked a treat on his dry skin. They had a wide range available in ASDA including bath oil, moisturiser and the original cream. I bought a 125g tub of it for £3.15 which I thought was fairly expensive, but I knew it would work so it seemed worth the money. The tub is white and ... Read the complete review

My skin has never been dry and neither was my sons as a baby we didn't even need to use baby oil on him so it came as a bit of a surprise when my baby daughter developed dry skin and eczema when she was a couple of months old. We tried aqueous cream which helped to some extent with the dry skin but the problem was still there. One visit to the docs later and we were prescribed amongst other things a large 500g tub of E45 cream. Appearance of Packaging and product The tub is a tall white pump action dispenser with the distinctive E45 logo on the front and an ingredients and directions for use information on the back. A tamper proof tag ... Read the complete review

I began using E45 cream in 2005 after extremely burning the skin on my arm. After weeks of visiting the nurse to have the wound redressed I finally got my arm back free from dressings and was advised to moisturise as often as I could with a vitamin E cream to reduce the scarring. When I first saw the wound I was really upset as it was about 20cm long and 15cm wide of red and purple inflamed skin at the top of my arm. I was told to expect quite a bad scar. I did as I was told and bought the vitamin E cream: E45 and began moisturising religiously the thick, white, creamy lotion into my wound. Initially, probably ten times a day I would ... My daughter has suffered from eczema since she was a baby - at its worst she was cocooned from top to toe in wet wrap bandages for 6 months. So as you can imagine, we have tried most creams, lotions and potions over the years, homeopathic remedies, essential oils, changes of diet, you name it, we have either had a prescription for it or have bought it over the counter. Thankfully, now she is 15, her skin has settled down as she has grown up, and she is only prone to the occasional "flare up" when stressed. When this happens, a combination of hydrocortisone cream and good old E45 help immensely. E45 cream is a very simple, ... Read the complete review
