This cream works wonders (E45 Cream)

I began using E45 cream in 2005 after extremely burning the skin on my arm.

After weeks of visiting the nurse to have the wound redressed I finally got my arm back free from dressings and was advised to moisturise as often as I could with a vitamin E cream to reduce the scarring.

When I first saw the wound I was really upset as it was about 20cm long and 15cm wide of red and purple inflamed skin at the top of my arm. I was told to expect quite a bad scar.

I did as I was told and bought the vitamin E cream: E45 and began moisturising religiously the thick, white, creamy lotion into my wound. Initially, probably ten times a day I would massage the cream into the wound in the hope it would help with the scar tissue and relive some of the dryness and itching. I became obsessed constantly using the cream. Over time (around a year later) I noticed a change in my skin, it became less reddened, more moisturised and very slightly a little smaller. My obsession was paying off. I continued to provide my arm with the extra moisture for the next year too, applying between 2-4 times a day and boy am I did. The scarring beacme less and less noticable and I noticed fewer people commenting, asking me about my scar and pointing at my arm.

These day I use the cream once a day after bathing and to be perfectly honest I dont even notice the scar. Looking at it as I write this I can see its there but to the naked eye of a stranger they would have to look quit hard to notice it. Hand on heart I put this down to my obcession with the E45 cream. The only time it comes back out is if it has been exposed to the sun, even though I use sun block it is quit sussesptable to sun damage, but I can live with that.

Since my burnt arm experince I have began using the cream also as a luxury hand moisturiser. Being a nurse myself and having to wash my hands hundreds of times a day, you can imagine my hands get very dry so when using the cream on my arm I also use on my hands and like with my arm I am very happy with the results.

To top it all off E45 is so reasonably priced you just cant go wrong.
