Advantages: Absorbs super duper quick! Super duper smooth skin.
Disadvantages: Dries out in a few hours.
-Packaging-
A clean, very kind of dermatologist-approved look to it. I don't know why but this, similar to cetaphil or clearasil has a 'I am really good for you skin' label strapped right across it!
-Does it work?-
Yes! It gives you super super smooth skin for a few hours
-First Use-
This is a staple product that more or less everybody has lying around their house somewhere. I rediscovered this about a month ago when my eczema was really getting on my nerves. I was actually looking for my 2 year old hydrocortisone but I thought.. right, this'll do.
So I slapped it on my inner elbows, and then noticed the crack skin on my skin, and slapped some on there, too.
It absorbs into your skin at superspeed. I don't really like the slightly medical smell but I guess it's tolerable. Anyway, it sinks right into my skin and when I touch my leg, like 2 minutes later it is silky smooth.
I was really impressed and have since relocated the E45 from under the kitchen sink to my bathroom.
Not very good for eczema though. It moisturizes it but it doesn't do much for the itch. It doesn't make it worse, I don't think but it doesn't make it any better, either.
-Advantages-
Super super speed absorption!!!
Silky smooth skin- for events when you know someone will touch your skin and you want them to be impressed ;)
-Disadvantages=
The skin silkiness does not last!! Or maybe that's just me. My legs are moisture repellent!
But the moisture doesn't, at least, last for a very long time. It lasts for maybe a night, or a few hours but I find that my skin dries up pretty quick afterwards.
Also, am I the only one who doesn't like the smell?
-Conclusion-
Great stuff, and I like this because it works!
However, on a daily basis I use boots instant soothing lotion, which does the same thing except is cheaper and doesn't smell of anything
I think E45 is slightly more moisturizing than the boots so I usually use the boots instant soothing lotion after taking a shower and use the E45 at night
Summary: Definitely worth getting! For all sorts of things, but it's not rich enough for 24 hour moisture
