I'd never used E45 before in my life as for me it looked a rather 'boring' product but my young son developed mild eczema on his face and arms and after trying a few products specifically designed to cure ezcema without any success a friend suggested I tried E45 moisturing lotion on him.

The results were amazing. Within a few days of using E45 his skin had started to become less dry and flaky and within a week or so it had almost disappeared, I couldnt believe it. After trying other more expensive products something as simple as this moisturiser could solve our problems.

I tend to use it on him on a daily basis now to keep the ezcema at bay as I have found that if I stop using it on him for a few days the signs re-appear that his skin is starting to dry and flake so I use E45 as a prevention rather than a cure nowadays.

I like the fact that E45 is unperfumed and is dermatologically tested. It is a light natural moisturiser. The white plastic packaging bearing the blue and white E45 logo is plain and simple - just like the product itself. Theres no airs and graces with this - it just does exactly what it says on the tin.

The lotion is available in 200ml aqueezy bottle and a 500ml pump action bottle at prices of £2.58 and £5.58 respectively. Not the cheapest moisturiser on the market but for sensitive skin and mild skin complaints it is a gem of a product and has been an answer to my prayers.

E45 also make nappy cream, moisturing cream (a thicker alternative to the lotion), itch creams, Emoillient bath oil, wash cream and dry scalp shampoo in their range and again all are aimed at the sensitive skin and skin complaint end of the market.

As a general moisturiser it leaves my skin feeling soft and supple and dries quickly into my skin. Because of its gentle nature it is suitable to use on babies too.

I am really impressed with the E45 range, especially this lotion and would not hesitate to use any of their range on myself or my family. A dream come true for us.
