Enliven Body Butter
I bought this simply because I needed some moisturising cream and it was in my local bargain store. I had never used it before but when I went on the website I realised that the product is one of many which I have seen on many occasions.
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING
The body butter comes in a 300ml plastic tub. Instantly, I like it because a tub means that I can use the product right down to the very last bit- no trying to squeeze out the last of the cream! The lid unscrews and once opened, the cream is right there without any plastic or foil covering to stop me.
The body butter itself is a sort of light cream colour with a really fruity smell. It is mango and passion fruit and whilst I have no idea which smell is predominant, there is a definite kind of tropical smell.
When I dip in my finger to get at the body butter, I find that it isn't as thick as I thought it would be but once I start to rub it into my skin, it seems to increase in thickness and become a real butter. That said, it may not actually be a plus point because it does take a lot of rubbing in to get it thoroughly rubbed in. It is, however, very moisturising once it's been absorbed and I really feel as though my skin has been moisturised.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
This cost only £1 so even had it been dreadful, I wouldn't have been disappointed. I think the products are widely available but I bought mine at one of my favourite bargain stores

www.enliven.co.uk. I found this quite strange because although the products are made in England, the names of the actual lotions on the website are in French
Considering this had cost me only £1, it was going to take a lot to make me grumble. As I said, the body butter comes in a nice plastic pot which is a definite plus, and it does have a very pleasant fruity smell. It's the kind of butter I would like to put on after being in the sunshine. Once on the skin, it is nice and creamy, but because it takes ages to soak into the skin, I would advise anyone using it not to put it on just before going out. I tried this and ended up going on obviously covered in white cream. I tend to put it on at night and let it soak in gradually. It does leave my skin feeling nice and moisturised, and at the price, I will be buying it again.
Recommended for anyone wanting a cheap moisturiser which is gentle on the skin, and does work
